Sometime within the past week someone stole a motor out of a vehicle parked on a vacant property off Commanche Drive.

Warrant - Failure to Appear
On Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 1114 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the location and was unable to maintain a single lane of travel. The suspect was unable to produce a driver's license upon request. It was subsequently revealed that the suspect's New Mexico Driver's License is revoked with the Arrest Clause attached. It was further revealed that there was a valid Arrest warrant for Failure to Appear issued out of the Santa Fe Municipal Court. The vehicle was siezed pursuant to the DWI Vehicle Forfieture Ordinance.

On Saturday. August 3, 2013 between 10:30 AM and 8:00 PM person(s) unknown, utilizing unknown means gained entry to a residence at the location by breaking a window in the rearr door. Once entry was gained, person(s) unknown removed various electronic and jewelry items from a bedroom.

Suspect: Stacy Towles, age 43, Chimayo, NM
Charged: Speeding, Driving while license Revoked, Resisting-Obstructing or Evading an Officer, Open Container
On 8/3/13 at approximately 5:40 p.m. deputy observed vehicle traveling 47 MHP in a 35 MHP zone. Deputy activated emergency equipment and attempted to stop the vehicle. Vehicle continued to flee at a high rate of speed. A traffic stop was conducted and driver was ran through NCIC and a license inquiry. Suspect's license returned as revoked with the arrest clause. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center. An inventory was conducted and an open container was located. The vehicle was seized as per Santa Fe County Ordinance 2006-5.

Sonetime between July 30th and August 2nd someone stole green in color Jamar Traffic Radar Recorder that was chained to a tree on Reata Road near the West Frontage Road.

Stolen Mac Computer valued at $1,300.00
On 08-01-13 at about 4:56AM someone entered the victims residence through a bedroom window and stole a Mac home computer. The victim's home video surveillance system captured the crime and the suspect was positivley identified. An arrest warrant was obtained for the suspect.

Victim reports he recieved a letter from the Social Security Administration Office requesting employment information from 2011 and 2012 for employers out of Kansas and New York. Victim indicates he was not employed in these states and it is unknown who stole his personal information. Case still pending further.

Charges: Auto Burglary, Battery against a household member, Tampering with a Motor Vehicle, Larceny, and Criminal Damage to Property
Stolen: Purse, and two handbags total estimated value: $350.00
Deputies responded to above location at approximately 1910 hours in reference to a domestic dispute. Victim reports her boyfrined pushed her to the ground after an altercation. She also stated the above suspect broke the passenger side window of her 2002 Chevorlet Astro Van and took the above items. The vehicle was also found to be disabled where the relay was pulled from the fuel pump. Total value of damage to vehicle $300.00. Suspect was located in the area and placed under arrest. Suspect was booked and charged accordingly without further incident.

Victim stated he received by way of mail several bills for accounts that he had never opened. Victim also reported while conducting a credit check he observed other accounts that he had not opened or given permission to have opened. This case ramains under investigation.
