Victim reports sometime between the dates of January 2002 and December 2005 unknown persons opened multiple student loans in vicitm's name and personal information.  Victim stated the total amount of all loans opened fraudelently is estimated at approximately $180,000.00.  Case still under investigation. 


0213011466 Breaking and Entering   07/26/2013

Damaged: front door $400.00

Victim reported that sometime between 7/25/2013 5:30pm and 7/26/2013 at 10:00am some unknown person forced entry into the victims residence by kicking open the front door. At this time victim did not believe that anything was missing.

Victim:  Female, 33, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  Hector Ahumada, 24, Moriarty, NM

Charged:  Aggravated Battery, Criminal Damage to Property

On Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 10:55 PM the suspect and victim were involved in a physical altercation at a residence at the location.  The suspect struck the victim with a closed fist and kicked her during the altercation.  The victim was transported to Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center for treatment of contusions and abraisions to her arms and legs.  The suspect also broke a fish tank during the altercation.


Case#:  0213011443/ Battery against a household member, Battery/ Date:  7/25/13

Location:  6156 Vuelta Ventura, Santa Fe, NM (Tierra Real MHP)

Suspect:  Jose L. Rodriguez, age 25, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Battery on a household member, Battery

On 7/25/13 deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to a domestic disturbance occurring at the above location.  Upon arrival Deputies could hear yelling from within the residence.  Contact was made with the victim who stated that the suspect came home intoxicated and began arguing with them.  Suspect then pushed the victim and other members of the family inside the residence.  Suspect was placed under arrest, transported, and booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Center.


Case#:  0213011414/ Burglary, Larceny, Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card/ Date:  7/25/13

Location:  30 Buffalo Thunder Trail, Santa Fe, NM

On 7/25/13 deputy responded to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that between 8:50 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. unknown persons broke a passenger side window to their vehicle.  Victim stated that unknown persons stole her purse which contained a wedding ring, glasses, misc. amount of US Currency, and misc. credit cards.  Victim stated that unknown persons were using her credit cards at various locations.  Estimated value of items taken is $20,755.  Estimated damage amount is $500.00.

Stolen: 14kt gold casting grain  

Victim reported he received approx. $1,975.00 worth of 14kt gold casting gold via US Mail on July 16, 2013. The gold was secured in a lock box and when the victim went to retrieve the gold on today's date, Thursday July 25, 2013, the gold was missing. There were no signs of forced entry to the business. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

Stolen: US Currency   

Victim reported on Thursday July 25, 2013 between the hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm unknown persons gained unauthorized access into the victim’s house and took the above items. There were signs of forced entry to the residence. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

0213011402 Battery Against a House Hold Member 7/25/13

Location: 27475 West I-25 Frontage Road (I-25 Area)

Arrested: Hannah Haynes 20 year old female, Santa Fe NM

On this date Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a Domestic Disturbance. There was sufficient evidence that led officers to believe that a battery had occurred. The above listed suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

On Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 10:30 PM an unidentified male struck the victim in the back of the head with an unknown metal object.  The victim was treated for minor injuries at the scene and declined any further medical attention.  The unknown suspect fled the area by vehicle in an unknown direction of travel.

On Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 10:45 PM the suspect and vicitm were involved in a verbal altercation at a residence at the location.  The altercation turned physical when the suspect grabbed the victim by her face and pushed her head against a wall.  The suspect also damaged thr front door to the residence.  The victim sustained minor injuries and declined medical attention.
