On this date Deputies responded to the above address in reference to a death investigation. The victim (90 year old male) was found unresponsive and not breathing by Caregiver. CPR was not conducted by paramedics,. At this time death appears to be of natural causes.

On this date Deputies responded to the above address in reference to a death investigation. The victim (69 year old male) was found unresponsive and not breathing by family member. CPR was not conducted by paramedics,. At this time death appears to be of natural causes. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

Victim advised he was at home when he heard a loud noise. Upon further inspection he discovered that an unkown suspect forced entry into his home. The suspect then fled the area. This case remains under investigation.

Stolen: US Currency
Victim stated between December 08, 2013 and December 10, 2013 unknown suspects took US currency from the victims home. This case remains under investigation.

Suspect: Carlos Garcia, age 48, Santa Fe, NM
Charged: Driving while license suspended-revoked
On 12/10/13 deputy was at the above location and observed a gray pickup at the intersection. Deputy observed a small child in the vehicle that did not appear to be in a child restraint. A traffic stop was conducted. Deputy ran suspect through DMV which revealed that the suspect had a revoked driver's license with the arrest clause. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe, County Adult Detention Center.

On 12/10/13 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a domestic dispute. Victim stated that she and suspect were involved in an argument when the suspect grabbed her by the throat and pushed her to the ground. Victim stated she was going to call 911 and suspect grabbed her cell phone and damaged it. Estimated damage amount is $250.00. Suspect fled the area.

Location: 5000 block of Agua Fria Park Road, Santa Fe, NM (off of Agua Fria)
On 12/10/13 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary. Victim stated that between 645 a.m. and 430 p.m. unknown persons gained entry into her residence by breaking a window. Victim stated that unknown persons stole a DVD player, an Ipod, misc. jewelry, misc. US Currency, and misc. figurines. Estimated value of items taken is $3840.00. Estimated damage amount is $100.00.
