Mr. Chavez arrived for a hearing when it was learned he had an active warrant for his arrest. Mr. Chavez was served with a copy of the warrant, arrested, transported and booked into Santa Fe County Jail without incident.

Case 2024000838 - Burglary- 02/14/2024

Location: 73 Sundance Rd, Santa Fe NM
Deputies responded to the location and made contact with the reporting party, who stated he was housesitting for his neighbors while they were on vacation. The reporting party stated at approximately 10:00 am, he checked on the residence and noticed the front door was open with the inside of the residence rummaged through. The reporting party told deputies the last time he checked on the residence was on Wednesday February 7th. Deputies cleared the residence and noticed the disturbance with multiple items stacked near the front door. The suspect(s) also took a 2000 in color Lexus 470 from the residence.The case remains under investigation.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. Driver admitted to consuming alcohol. SFST's were performed and driver showed signs of impairment. Breath test on driver came back a BAC of 0.21. Driver was arrested and charged accordingly.

Corporal War conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle on NM-599. Upon contact with the driver, it was discovered his driver's license status was invalid, revoked (DWI Related). Mr. Aguilar was arrested without incident.

The driver, Mr. Montoya was deemed non-native therefore a deputy was requested. Mr. Montoya was later arrested without incident.
