Deputies were dispatched to a report of a Burglary. Upon investigation, an unknown person(s) cut open a fence surrounding the site and stole 8 roofing panels. There is no suspect information at this time. 


Case #2024000809 / Warrant Arrest - 2/13/2024

Location: Calle Princesa Juana (Santa Fe) 

Arrested: Angel Roibal (24 YO) 

Female was found exiting a stolen vehicle. Female was stopped on foot, vehicle fled, and female was found to have an active warrant. Warrant was for Failure to Appear on original charge of Receiving Stolen Property, Resisting (x2), Shoplifting (x3), Crossing at other than Crosswalks. 


Case #2024000808 / Trafficking a Controlled Substance, Criminal Trespass, 2/13/2024

Deputy Assigned: C. Lattin

Location: Buffalo Thunder Resort/Casino

Arrested: Dustin Ryder (42 YO) 

Deputies were dispatched to the casino to assist Pojoaque PD with an individual who was trespassed from the location. Pojoaque PD detained the subject, and upon search located several bags of methamphetamine. Deputies took over the investigation, arrested and charged the male accordingly. 


Case #2024000784 / Possession of a Controlled Substance - 2/12/2024

Deputy Assigned: J. Watson

Location: Interstate 25, Mile Marker 264 

Arrested: Charlie Sapien (35 YO) 

Individual was found to be walking down Interstate 25. A welfare check was performed and the individual was found to have an active warrant. On search incident to arrest, suspect was found to have fentanyl on him. He was charged accordingly and the warrant was served. 


Case #2024000782 - Aggravated DUI, Careless Driving, 2/11/2024

Deputy Assigned: M. Olivas

Location: West Alameda St. 

Arrested: Valentin Galindo-Viera (44 YO)

Deputies were dispatched to a rollover crash. Upon contact with the driver, signs of impairment were observed, and the driver was arrested. Driver consented to a breath test and blew 0.18/0.19. 


Case#2024000786/Criminal Sexual Penetration/2-12-24

Handling Deputy: C. Cullison

Victim: 24 YOF

Suspect: Miguel Prada Jr. 38 YOM

Earlier this date, deputies were dispatched to a report of Criminal Sexual Penetration. The Victim called and reported that while she was sleeping, she awoke to Miguel inappropriately touching her. The Victim and her friend then fled the residence and called for police. The case has been relayed to the Criminal Investigation Division. 


Case#2024000775/Driving While License Revoked/2-11-24

Handling Deputy: A. Gallardo

Address: NM-76/Calle Adrian

Arrestee: Connie Sanchez, 59 YOF

Deputy Gallardo conducted a traffic stop at the above location. Upon contact with the driver, Ms. Sanchez, it was discovered that her driver's license status is revoked. The revocation stemmed from a prior DUI arrest. Ms. Sanchez was arrested without incident. 


Case 2024000576-Missing Person

Missing-Urian Ocana(31YOM) (Santa Fe County)

Deputies were disptached to a missing person call for service.The reporting person told deputies that the above subject left the residnce and did not notify anyine he was leaving. Male was last seen wearing blue shirt, blue jeans and white shoes. Subject was entered into NCIC as a missing person.


Case 2024000762 -Criminal Sexual Penetration

Sueno De Vigil (SF County)

On February 10, 2024, at approximately 6:10 AM Deputies reposnded to the Espanola Hospital in regards to a sexual assault that occured within Santa Fe County. Victim reported they were sexually assaulted the night before 2/9/2024. Detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division were notified and took over the investigation. 


Case #2024000757 Shooting at occupied dwelling or structure, Negligent use of a firearm, Criminal Damage, Battery

Deputy Assigned: D. Moore

Location: Sandia, Santa Fe

Arrested: Isiah Vigil, 21 YOA male, Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to shots being fired from inside the residence. Deputies contacted the suspect outside of the residence. Deputies observed the suspect had fired multiple shots into the sealing of the residence. The suspect also damaged various property inside of the residence. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.
