On 5/11/13 deputy responded to above location in reference to a larceny. Victim stated that between 4/21/13 and 5/10/13 unknown persons entered his home and stole a .22 caliber handgun. Victim stated that there was no forced entry into his residence. Estimated value of the item taken is $360.00.

Suspect: Roland Quintana, age 37, Santa Fe, NM
Charged: Driving on a suspended-revoked driver's license, Expired Registration
On 5/11/13 deputy observed a silver Kia bearing a license plate which was displaying an expired registration sticker. Deputy conducted a traffic stop at the above location. Contact was made with the suspect who stated that his license was revoked. A driver's license inquiry revealed that the license is revoked. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center. Vehicle was seized as per Santa Fe County Ordinance.

Arrested: Nicholas Miramontez
On May 12, 2013, Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the above location and the driver was discovered to be driving with a suspended/ revoked driver's license. Driver was arrested and the vehicle was seized.

Stolen: Electric Guitar in Black case
On 05-11-2013 victim reported the theft of a guitar from his locked vehicle which was parked in the La Tienda at Eldorado shopping area. The theft had occurred the previous evening at approximately 2000 hrs. Victims stated he found that the left rear door window had been smashed and the guitar, which was in a hard, black guitar case, was missing from the rear seat area.
The above stolen items were valued at about $1600.00

Stolen: Two blank Checks - cashed $825.00
Victim reported that sometime between 4/18/13 and 4/25/13 two personal checks were stolen by a family member from his check book. The checks were then given to another person to cash. The suspect forged the victim’s signature and cashed the checks for the above total. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

Stolen: 3/4 inch drive socket set and damaged passenger window. Total value $490.00
On 05-10-13 between 8:00PM and 12:30AM someone broke the passenger window of the victim's 1996 Chevrole S-10 truck and stole a socket set while it was parked in the parking lot of the Cities of Gold Casino.

On 05-10-13 the victim reported on 05-08-13 a female stole her purse while at the Cities of Gold Casino. The victim stated she had placed her purse near a slot machine and then switched to another machine. Once she realized she had left her purse she returned to where she left the purse. The purse contained the above items. An unidentified female was seen walking away with the purse. Suspect information is pending.

On 05-10-13 the victim reported sometime between 05-08-13 and 05-10-13 someone entered the residence by prying open the rear door. Once inside the suspect(s) reummaged through the master bedroom closet. However, it did ot appear anyting was taken. Suspects are pending at this time. The suspect(s) caused about $300.00 in damage to the rear door and door frame.

Charges: D.W.I., Careless Driving, Open Container
On 05-10-13 Deputies responded to a Motor Vehicle Crash on State Road 502 near Pojoaque High School. Upon arrival a white Toyota Tacoma was observed lying on its roof against the guard rail. Contact was made with the driver, who was identified as the above individual. While speaking to the driver signs of impairment were observed. The driver performed poorly on the Standardized Field Sobriety test and was placed under arrest. The driver submitted to chemical testing with the results of .12/.12 BrAC. The driver was booked accordingly into the Santa Fe County Detention Facility. During the investigation of the crash, it was learned the driver had crossed over into opposing lanes of travel and over corrected. An open beer bottle was located inside the vehicle.
