Arrested: Johnny Martinez, 44 yoa male, Santa Fe, NM
Charges: Battery Aganist a Household Member, and Resisting, Evading, Obstructing an Officer
Deputies responded the above location in reference to a domestic disturbance. Victim reports he was involved in an altercation with his partner, the above suspect. Victim reported the suspect struck him in the face with the back of his hand. Suspect was located at the residence and refused orders given by Deputies by activitly pulled his arms away while Deputies placed him in handcuffs. Suspect was booked and charged accordingly without further incident.

On 06-21-13 Jail staff located hypadermic needles on the above listed suspect.

Location: Cities of Gold Hotel
Deceased: 49-year-old female from El Rancho N.M.
On 06-21-2013 at about 11:45PM a 49-year-old female passed away in a hotel room at the Cities of Gold Casino. Her boyfriend was on scene at the time and called 911 after she had an apparent seizure and stopped breathing. Santa Fe County Fire Dept and Deputies responded to the scene. CPR was cunducted but unsucessful. She suffered from a long history of medical issues. There were no signs of foul play.

Location: residence off of Craftsman Road, Santa Fe, NM (Oshara Village)
Victim: 63 year old male, Santa Fe, NM
On 6/21/13 deputies responded to above location in reference to an assisting ambulance call. Deputies arrived on scene and observed medical personnel attending to a male subject who was unconcious, not breathing outside his vehicle. Medical personnel was performing CPR. CPR was stopped and OMI was contacted. It was learned that the victim had a medical history. There were no signs of foul play.

The victim reports that sometime between 7:30am and 1:00pm, unknown person(s) entered the residence through an unlocked window and stole college school books, jewelry, and a handgun. No suspects or witnesses were known at the time of report.

The victim reported that sometime between 9:20am and 12:00pm on June 21, 2013, unknown person(s) entered the residence through an open door and stole a wooden box with miscellaneous jewelry, valued at about $600.00. No suspects or witnesses were known at the time of report.

Arrested: Cindy Ruiz - age 40, Santa Fe, NM
Deputies responded to the location of a domestic altercation. The investigation showed that the above suspect struck the victim with a drinking glass and caused several lacerations on his head. The victim was transported to St. Vincent's Hospital and the suspect was placed under arrest.

Arrested: Jacob Robins - age 21, Santa Fe, NM
The above subject cashed a fraudulent check at the above business on June 8, 2013, in the amount of $950.00. On June 21, 2013, he attempted to cash another fraudulent check in the amount of $750.00 and was arrested after the store owner recognized him and called 911.

On 06-20-13 the acequia commissioner was checking the irrigation valves near Canada Ancha Road and noticed someone intentionally damaged an irrigation valve valued at $1,000.

Suspect was found in possession of Suboxone after being booked into the Santa Fe County Jail. Suspect admitted he brought the Suboxone into the jail when he was booked.
