On 07-06-2012 between the hours of 4:00PM and 10:00PM the victim's vehicle was stolen from the victim's driveway. The victim suspects a family member may have stole the vehicle. The case is under investigation.

On Friday, July 6, 2012 at 9:44 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location. The suspect was observed stopped at a posted stop sign for an unusually long period of time. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and submitted to a Blood Alcohol Test. The results of the test are pending. The suspect was unable to produce proof of insurance upon request.

On 7/6/12 deputy was dispatched to a reckless driver call at the above location at 1741 hours. Vehicle was located by deputies and a traffic stop was conducted. Suspect appeared to be impaired. SFST's were administered and clues of impairment were observed. Suspect was placed under arrest. Suspect refused to submit to chemical testing. Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

On 7/6/12 victim reported that she has an order of protection against her ex-husband. Victim stated that she has been contacted by the suspect and she has conversed with the suspect through Facebook and on the phone. Victim stated that she never reported the incidents. Victim stated that she met with the suspect on July 4. Victim stated that she was with the suspect's brother and that the suspect had run them off the road at the above location. Victim stated that suspect had battered his brother and she did not have any information on the brother. Victim did not have any injuries. Contact was not made with the brother or the suspect.

On 07-05-2012 Diego Ortega was placed under arrest for an outstanding bench warrant issued out of the First Judicial District Court. Diego Ortega turned himself into Agent Webb at the Sheriff's Office. Diego Ortega was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

On 7/5/12 deputies responded to above location in reference to a burglary. Victim stated that between the hours of 1030 and 1800 on today's date unknown suspects entered her residence through a northwest rear window which was unsecure. Victim stated that unknown suspects stole $1850 in cash, misc jewelry, 2 jewelry boxes, and a hanging jewelry bag. Estimated value of items taken is $5945.00. There was no damage to the residence.

On 7/5/12 deputy was dispatched to the above location in reference to a burglary. Victim stated that sometime between 7/2/12 at 0800 and 1630 hours unknown persons gained entry into her residence through a bedroom window. Victim stated that the suspects took misc. jewelry and 2 four man tents from within. Estimated value of the items taken is $3700.00.

Victim reported that he recently received notices from the Department of Motor Vehicle Division that his license was going to be suspended for failure to appear before court. Victim stated that he only has an ID card and never drives. He suspects someone is using his personal information. Case is still under investigation.
