Arrested: Edgar Chavez 27 yrs old, Santa Fe NM
On 12-14-12, at approximately 10:20pm Deputies were dispatched Sycamore Loop in reference to a handgun being brandished on another subject. Suspect, Edgar Chavez, was located at his residence . He refused to come out of the residence but after approximately 3 hours he agreed to come out and was placed under arrest and booked accordingly at the Santa Fe County Jail.

Arrested: Irving Molina 21 yrs old Santa Fe NM
Deputy Martinez observed the a blue in color 1984 Chrysler west on Airport Road without headlamps. Contact was made with the driver who displayed signs of impairment. Open containers were observed in his vehicle. Driver submitted to the standardized field sobriety tests and again showed signs of impairment. He submitted to a breath test where samples provided were .07/.06. During the course of the investigation it was revealed that the driver had a 16 year old male subject who had also consumed an alcoholic beverage. Suspect was arrested and charged with above charges, and booked into Santa Fe County Jail.

Victim reports she came home to find the above suspect leaving the above address around 6:30pm. Victim later noticed the above items missing. Case still pending further investigation.

Deputies responded to assist the Fire Dept. with an unconcious elderly male. Upon arrival, Fire Personnel were unable to revive an 84 year old man who had an extensive medical history. No foul play suspected.

Arrested: Miguel Duran age 39 of Los Alamos NM
Deputies were responding to a possible burglary in progress at the El Parasol Restaurant in Pojoaque NM. A silver 2010 Chevy Tahoe was observed driving in the parking lot. Contact was made with the driver who displayed signs of impairment. He admitted to consuming two beer and was found with open containers in his vehicle. Driver submitted to the standardized field sobriety tests and again showed signs of impairment. He refused to submit to a breath at which time he was placed under arrest for Aggravated DWI. During the course of the investigation it was revealed that the driver had his 16 year old son inside the vehicle at the time of the stop. Suspect was arrested and charged with above charges, and booked into Santa Fe County Jail.

Location: SF County Road 84 (Pojoaque area)
Stolen: 32” Samsung flatscreen tv, Misc. silver jewelry, 1- blue/black back pack
Victim reported that sometime between 2:00pm and 8:20pm on December 12, 2012 unknown persons gained unauthorized access into the victim’s residence through an unlocked back door window and took the above items. There were no signs of forced entry to the residence. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
