Victim reports sometime between the hours of 7:45am and 4:00pm unknown suspect(s) gained unauthorized forced entry into the above location.  Entry was gained by kicking in the rear door.  Once inside the above listed items were taken.  Total estimated value of damage $300.00.  Case still pending investigation.


0212016603 Burglary 10/22/2012

Stolen: Prescription Medication ( Premarin cream)

Sometime between 5:00pm and 6:00pm on October 19, 2012 unknown suspects gained unauthorized entry to the above residence and stole the above items. No signs of forced entry were found.

The above listed stole item was valued at about $49.00

Victim reports unknown person(s) made several unauthorized charges to two different credit cards.  The total amount charged to one card was $805.61.  The total amount charged to the second card was $1,312.96. Case still pending investigation.


0212016547 Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle 10/21/2012

Stolen: 2009 Gray Toyota Corolla, NM LKN613

On October 20, 2012 at 1:00am the daughter of the victim asked the suspect who is her husband to leave her residence and that she no longer wanted him there. The suspect took the key to the vehicle, and left without permission from the victim or the daughter. Registered owner signed a stolen vehicle affidavit and the vehicle was entered into NCIC.

Location:  200 block of Thankhohay Poe, Santa Fe, NM (Pojoaque)

Victim:  78 year old male

On 10/21/12 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a male subject that was unconcious and not breathing.  Victim's wife stated that she left the residence this morning at 0630 and returned at 1700 hours to find her husband unresponsive.  Victim's wife stated that her husband suffers from medical problems.  OMI arrived on scene.  There was no foul play involved.


Case#:  0212016441 & 0212016446/ Larceny, Service of Documents/ Date:  10/19/12

Location:  28 Camino Justicia, Santa Fe, NM (Santa Fe County Adult Detention Ctr.)

Suspect:  Frank Rodriguez Tapia (Rico), age 20, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Larceny, Bench warrant for failure to comply with conditions of Electronic Monitoring Program

On 10/19/12 deputy was dispatched to Electronic Monitoring to pick up the suspect on a bench warrant.  Deputy was told that the suspect had just stolen some cash from the counter at the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center prior to being released.  Suspect took $80.00 in cash.  Suspect then proceeded to buy a hamburger and checked in at Electronic Monitoring.  Suspect gave the case worker $67.00 in cash.  Suspect was then booked into the jail for the warrant and larceny.

Location:  3451 Hyde Park Road, Santa Fe, NM (Ten Thousand Waves)

Victim:  64 year old male

On 10/20/12 deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to an unconcious, not breathing male.  Witnesses stated that victim was walking out of the business towards his vehicle in the parking lot when he then sat  on a rock wall.  Witnesses stated that the male then vomited and then fell to the ground.  Witnesses called 911 and started chest compressions.  Medical personnel arrived and stated victim had no pulse.  OMI was contacted.  Family was later contacted and stated that the family has had heart problems.  No foul play was involved.


0212016498 Aggravated DWI / Battery on a Peace Officer

Location:Agua Fria Street(Agua Fria Area)

Arrested: Edwin Rivera 60 years old,Santa Fe NM

Deputy conducted a traffic  stop at the above location with the suspect vehicle. Drive displayed signs of impairment. Driver refused SFST’s and the driver was placed under arrest for DWI. Well attempting to secure suspect in police car he spit on a Santa Fe Police Officer’s face. Suspect was arrested and charged with above charges, and booked into Santa Fe County Jail.
