0212017593 Death Investigation 11/10/2012

On this date Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a death investigation. The victim (58 year old female) was found at the above location unresponsive and not breathing by a family member, there did not appear to any signs of foul play and death appears to be of natural causes. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

Location: 5166 Agua Fria, Santa Fe, NM (Allsup's Convenience Store)
On 11/10/12 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a robbery that occurred. The clerk stated that a male suspect walked into the store and demanded money from the registers. The clerk handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of money from the registers. Suspect then fled on foot towards Agua Fria. The suspect did not brandish a weapon. Case is under investigation.

Suspect: Justin Harris, age 22, Espanola, NM
Charged: Possession of a controlled substance
On 11/10/12 three inmates were seen huddled under a blanket. Inmates were separated and they advised they were reading a letter. Suspect was asked to provide the letter and provided a small piece of paper containing a small amount of a green leafy substance. The substance was field tested and tested positive for Marijuana. Suspect was then charged and rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Suspect: Anthony Gutierrez, age 23, Santa Fe, NM
Charged: Bringing Contraband into a Place of Imprisonment
On 11/9/12 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a narcotics violation. Deputy made contact with the reporting party who stated that the mail officer was checking the mail and opened mail belonging to the above suspect. Located in the mail were 2 orange strips of Suboxone and 8 strips of a black tar substance. The black tar subtance was field tested and tested positive for heroin. Suspect was charged and rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Location: 3200 block of Calle Maria Luisa, Santa Fe, NM (off of Airport Rd.)
On 11/9/12 between the hours of 1145 and 1530 unknown persons entered the victims residence by prying open the front door. Victim stated that the suspects stole 2 guitars and a laptop computer. Estimated value of the items taken is $2400.00. Estimated damage amount to the door is about $50.00.

On 11/9/12 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a robbery that just occurred at the Allsup's Convenience Store. The clerks advised that a male subject walked into the store and demanded money from the registers. The clerks opened the registers and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of currency. Suspect then fled the area. Suspect never brandished a weapon. Case under investigation.

Victim reported that sometime between November 06, 2012 at 12:00pm and November 09, 2012 at 7:30am. Unknown persons gained unauthorized access into a secured building and took the above item. There were no signs of forced entry to the residence. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

Victim #2: Female, 14, Taos, NM
Suspect: Heather Rowley, 38, Albuquerque, NM
Charged: Abandonment or Abuse of a Child (2 Counts), DWI, Careless Driving
On Friday, November 9, 2012 at 7:17 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location attempting to pass another vehicle. For reason(s) unknown the suspect lost control of the vehicle allowing it to strike the other vehicle. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater. Victims #1 and #2 were passengers in the vehicle at the time of the collision. Their safety and health were comprimised by the suspect's impaired driving which resulted in the collision. The occupants of the other vehicle were treated at the scene for minor, non-life threatening injuries and declined any further medical attention at the scene.
