On 12-26-2011 at approximately 9:30p.m. a black male and four hispanic males in a black in color vehicle, posibly an Acura approached the victim who was exiting his vehicle and began hitting and kicking him.  The suspect's stole the victim's wallet and fled the area.  The case is under investigation.

LOCATION:  3000 BLOCK OF CERRILLOS ROAD, SANTA FE

ARRESTED:  ALEJANDRO CORNEJO, 18 YOA MALE AND A 17 YOA JUVENILE MALE BOTH OF SANTA FE

CHARGES:  PUBLIC AFFRAY, NEGLIGENT USE OF A FIREARM, AND MINOR IN POSSESSION OF ALCOHOL, 17 YOA MALE, PUBLIC AFFRAY, MINOR IN POSSESSION OF ALCOHOL, RESISTING AN OFFICER

ON THIS DATE AT ABOVE LISTED LOCATION, A CITIZEN REPORTED THAT THERE WAS A FIGHT IN THE PARKING.  DEPUTY'S RESPONDED ADN OBSERVED THE ABOVE LISTED SUSPECTS FIGHTING.  DEPUTY'S TRYED TO GET THEM TO STOP AND THE 17 YOA MALE THEN BECAME AGGRASIVE WITH THE DEPUTY'S.  ONE DEPUTY DEPLOYED HIS TASER TO STOP THE 17 YOA MALE AND HE WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY.  THE OTHER MALE COMPLYED WITH DEPUTYS AND HE WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY. ON THE ABOVE LSITED CHARGES.  ALEJANDRO WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER AND BOOKED.  THE 17 YOA MALE WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL FOR TREATMENT AND THEN WAS BOOKED INTO THE JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER.  BOTH HAD BEEN DRINKING AND ALCOHOL WAS LOCATED IN THE VEHICEL, ALONG WITH A 38 SPECIAL CALIBER HAND GUN.

Suspect; Pending

Deputies responded to report of open door and found front door forced open.  Deputies discovered TV, misc Jewelry and firearms missing.  Case is under investigation.


02.11.018918 / Unlawful taking of a Motor Vehicle / Larceny / Criminal damage to property / 12.26.2011

Stolen: JB Flat bed Trailer, NM License plate 82883 T/RH with Black Rails.

Black and red Lincoln Electric-Eagle 10,000 generator.

Damage: (2) Two master locks, and one brown chain.

Between December 22nd 2011, 5:00 p.m., and December 26, 2011, 9:00 a.m. unknown suspect(s) unlawfully stole the above trailer and generator from the above location. Suspects are pending further investigation.

Stolen items were valued at under $6190.00


02.11.018925 / Battery against a Household Member / Resisting, evading or obstructing an Officer / 12.26.2011

Location: Camino Trujillo, Santa Fe, NM (Pojoaque)

Arrested: Brad Johnson, age 37, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies were dispatched to a Domestic Dispute at the above location. Suspect was involved in a verbal argument; that escalated to a physical altercation. Suspect fled the area and was located at The Cities of Gold Casino. Victim had signs of battery on her person. When suspect was being taken into custody, he resisted. He was transported and booked into The Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.


CASE 0211018905 / 3 COUNTS OF CONTRIBUTING TO A MINOR, RESISTING ARREST, AGGRAVATED FLEEING, DWI, OPEN CONTAINER, BUYING SELLING

LOCATION:  AGUA FRIA AND SAN YSIDRO CROSSING, SANAT FE AREA

ARRESTED:  MARIO G. SARMIENTO 18YOA MALE SANTA FE AREA, A 15 YOA MALE, 16 YOA MALE AND A 17 YOA MALE

CHARGES:  3 COUNTS OF CONTRIBUTING TO A MINOR,  4 COUNT OF RESISTING ARREST, AGGRAVATED FLEEING, DWI, OPEN CONTAINER, 4 COUNTS OF BUYING SELLING GIVING ALCOHOL TO A MINOR (mip), OPEN CONTAINER, DRIVER TO BE LICENSED

ON THIS DATE AT ABOVE LISTED LOCATION DEPUTY OBSERVED VEHICLE WEST BOUND AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED AND FAILING TO STOP AT POSTED STOP SIGN. DEPUTY ATTEMPTED TO STOP VEHICLE WHEN IT TURNED OFF ITS HEADLIGHTS AND REFUSED TO STOP. DEPUTY FOLLOWED VEHICLE FOR TWENTY MINUTES UNTIL THE DRIVER HIT A CHUCK HOLE IN ROADWAY AND CRASHED INTO A POLE IN THE 100 BLOCK OF CAMINO CAPILLA VIEJA. MARIO SARMIENTO TOOK OFF RUNING WITH A JUVENILE NAMED 17 YOA JUVENILE DOWN THE ROAD. TWO OTHER JUVENILES WERE TRYING TO GET AWAY FROM THE PICKUP AND THE DRIVER WAS TASED WHEN HE WAS RESISTING AN OFFICER.  BOTH WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY. THE 15 YEAR OLD DRIVER WAS CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED FLEEING, DWI, OPEN CONTAINER, RESISTING AN OFFICER AND DRIVER TO BE LICENSE. PASSENGER 16 YOA WAS CHARGED WITH RESITING AN OFFICER AND MINOR IN POSSESSION OF ALCOHOL ALONG WITH THE 17 YOA PASSENGER THAT HAD RUN OFF AFTER HE WAS CAUGHT AND THEY WERE RELEASED TO THEIR PARENTS. MARIO SARMIENTO WAS ARRESTED FOR THREE COUNTS OF CONTRIBUTING OF A MINOR, MINOR IN POSSESSION OF ALCOHOL, RESISTING AN OFFICER AND TAKEN TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER. THE DRIVER, MARCO OROZCO WAS TAKEN TO THE JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER.  VEHICLE WAS IMPOUNDED.  NO INJURYS REPORTED.


CASE 0211018901 / BURGLARY-LARCENY-CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY / 12-25-2011

LOCATION:   100 BLOCK OF CAMINO CERRADO, POJOAQUE AREA

ITEMS DAMAGED OR STOLEN:  PHILLIPS 42" FLAT SCREEN TV, VALUED AT $480.00, DOOR WAS DAMAGED.

On the above date at listed location the  victim reported that some time between 11am and 10:15pm, someone had made unauthorized entry into the residence and stole the above item. The residence had been ransacked, but it did not appear that anything else was missing.   The rear door had some damage to the area where the locks are caused by some kind of prying tool. The rear door to the residence was unlocked. Victim advised that the rear door was locked when the family left for the day. Case is under investigation at this time.

Stolen: Phillips TV, Video camera, RCA DVD player, 2 playstation games, T.V. speaker, and Misc Jewlery.

On the above date, victim report that between 12:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. unknown suspect(s) unlawfully gained entry into the above stated address. Once inside the unknown suspect(s) removed the above stated items. This case is pending further investigation.

The above listed stolen items were valued at about $ 4,050.00


02.11.018825 / Abandonment or Abuse of a Child (2Counts) / Negligent use of a Weapon / Aggravated Assualt on a Household Member

Location: Paseo de La Joya, Nambe, NM

Arrested: Roberto Baca, age 32, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies were dispatched to a Domestic Dispute at the above location. Suspect had left his two small children alone at the residence unattended. Spouse arrived home to find children home alone. Suspect arrived home intoxicated and got into a verbal argument with his spouse, suspect armed himself with a rifle and fired shots into the air to scare her. Suspect also took the victims cellular phone and damaged it, he kicked the front door in causing damage to their property. Suspect was taken into custody on the above charges. He was transported to The Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center and booked.


02.11.018855 / Battery on a Peace Officer (3 Counts) / Failure to Relenguish Telephone Party Line for Emergency Call / Possessio

Location: N. Platte Road, Santa Fe, NM (Airport Rd.)

Arrested: Gabriel Paz Ramirez-Camacho, age 32, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies were dispatched to over (60) Sixty 911 calls at the above location. Suspect was warned that 911 is for emergencies only. Subject was also highly intoxicated, he stated that he was trying to locate his ex-girlfriends, and he continued to call 911. He was taken into custody for the above charges. He was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. While booking the subject at The Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center, he became combative and kicked a Deputy, and two Corrections Officers.
