                  Responsibility

On Sunday, April  8, 2012 at approximately 1:36 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location in the right lane.  The suspect lost control of the vehicle allowing it to leave the roadway on the right side.  The suspect over corrected to the left causing the vehicle to roll over multiple times coming to rest on its wheels.  The suspect was transported to Christus Saint Vincent Regional Medical Ceenter by ambulance where he was treated and admitted to the Medical Center for serious, but non-life threatening injuries.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and submitted to a Blood Alcohol Test.  Results of that test are pending.  The suspect was unable to produce proof of insurance upon request.  A check with the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles revealed that the vehicle registration was expired.

The above listed subject was arrested on an active Bench Warrant out of Potter County Texas. Subject charged with being a fugitive from justice and was re-booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Deputy was dispatched to a Domestic Dispute at the above location. Suspect was involved in a verbal argument with a house hold member that escalated. Suspect threw items in the bedroom, in the process victim was injured. Suspect also damaged a bedroom 2’X3’ window. He was booked forBatteryagainst a household member, and Criminal damage to property of a household member.

On 4/6/12 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that between 0730 and 1800 hours unknown persons gained entry into her residence by breaking the west rear window.  Once inside suspects took 2 flatscreen TV's.  Estimated value of the items taken is $1800.00.  Estimated damage amount is $100.00.

Location:  800 block of Old Las Vegas Highway, Santa Fe, NM (Canoncito)

Victim reported that on the above date some time between 10:30am and 6:30pm, that an unidentified suspect(s) broke the west side window to the master bedroom.  Suspect(s) entered the residence from the northside entrance to the property which connects to Calle Canoncito.Victim stated suspects stole a 42" flatscreen TV, a Nintendo Wii w/ games, an Apple Macbook, 50 DVD's, 50 Bluray movies, 50 various records, misc power tools, 1 PV guitar amplifier, 1 infrared wooden heater, and one bottle of whiskey.     Estimated value of items taken is $9000.00.   Estimated damage amount is $250.00.

Victim reports unknown person(s) gained entry into his residence sometime between the hours of 8:15pm to 9:45pm on this date. The above listed items were stolen from within the residence. It is unknown how suspect(s) gained entry into the home as there were no signs of forced entry.  Case still pending investigation


0212005132, Unlawful Taking of Motor Vehicle, 4/6/12

Victim reports red 2010 Honda Accord bearing NM 181PKJ was parked at the Nambe Church while victim walked to the Santuario in Chimayo.  Upon victim's return, the vehicle was missing.  No signs of forced entry detected.  Vehicle entered into NCIC as stolen.  Case is under investigation.


0212005112 Death Investigation

Location: Arroyo Seco Circle (Arroyo Seco area) NM

On this date Deputies responded to the above address in reference to a death investigation. The victim (61 year old male) was found unresponsive and not breathing by his employer. There were no signs of foul play at the scene and it appears to be of natural causes at this time.

Stolen: 2 IBM Laptops, 1 HP Laptop, 2 Microphones, $250.00 in cash

Victim reported that sometime between 9:00am and 10:00am some unknown person entered the above address through an unlocked front door and stole the above listed items from within the residence.

The above listed items stolen were valued at about $1250.00


Case # 0212005057/ Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage/ 04-05-2012

Stolen: One (1) Panasonic DVD player, small diamond ring, amethyst stone bracelet, and a sapphire ring.  

Victim reported on Thursday April 5, 2012 between the times of 7:30 am and 3:25 pm., unknown persons gained unauthorized access into the victim’s house and took the above items. Forced entry was gained into the residence. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
