Suspect:  Edgar Marroquin-Sarceno, 31, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Aggravated DWI, Careless Driving, Open Container, Driver Must Be Licensed,

                  Mandatory Proof of Financial Responsibility, Warrant - Failure to Appear

On December 18, 2011 at 2:31 AM the suspect was operating the vehicle east at the location and was unable to maintain a single lane of travel.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and refused to submit to a Breathalyzer Test.  A check with the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles revealed no driver's license on file for the suspect.  The suspect was unable to produce proof of insurance upon request. The suspect was found to be in possession of an open can of Budweiser Beer.  A check with the New Mexico Crime Information Center revealed that Santa Fe County Magistrate Judge David Segura had issued a Warrant for the suspect's arrest for Failure to Appear.

Suspect:  Alessandra Fiorini, 57, Espanola, NM

Charged:  DWI, Roadways Laned for Traffic, Open Container

On December 17, 2011 at 9:50 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location and she was not able to maintain a single lane of travel.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater.The suspect was also found to be in possession of a coffee cup which contained an alcoholic beverage.


Case# 0211018517 Death Investigation

Location:  Bens Court, Pojoaque, NM

Victim:  Jerrry Montoya, 49, Pojoaque, NM

On December 17, 2011 at 11:00 PM Deputies responded to a residence at the location.  The victim was found unresponsive withouth any signs of life and was pronounced dead at the scene.  Foul play is not suspected at this time..  Cause of death is pending results of an autopsy.


Case# 0211018512 Resisting or Obstructing an Officer

Location:  Agua Fria Street at San Ysidro Crossing, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle:  Black, 2002, Oldsmobile, 2 door

Suspect:  Gabriel Mendiola, 25, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Resisting or Obstructing an Officer, Stop Sign Violation, No Insurance

On December 17, 2011 at 8:24 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle west at the location when he failed to stop for a posted stop sign.  The suspect failed to bring his vehicle to a stop when given a command to do so until he reached the intersection of SFC 70 and Vereda Corta.  The suspect was unable to produce proof of insurance upon request.

Suspect:  Michele  Harpstrite, 49, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  DWI

On December 17, 2011 at 3:41 PM the suspect was operating the south at the location and was involved in a verbal altercation with her boyfriend.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and a Blood Alcohol Test was administered.  Results of this test are pending.

Arrested: Tanya Sena, age 24, Santa Fe NM

The above listed subject was arrested on an active Felony Bench Warrant for Robbery, Conspiracy, and Tampering with Evidence. She was taken into custody without incident. Subject was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Location: Sycamore Loop, Santa Fe, NM (Cottonwood MHP)

Stolen: Misc. Jewelry, Nintendo DS, PS3 games, Droid Razor docking station, 1 mens wedding ring, HP Laptop, DVD player. Womens gold ring, cellular phone, canon digital camera 6 SD memory cards, Ray Vac batteries.

On the above date, victim report that between 12:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. unknown suspect(s) unlawfully gained entry into residence. Once inside the unknown suspect(s) removed the above stated items. This case is pending further investigation.

The above listed stolen items were valued at about $ 10,869.00

Stolen: Cash $3,824.71

Between December 1, 2011, and December 16, 2011 victim placed an add on ebay to rent his property. Suspect responded to add, sent victim a fraudulent check, for deposit, first months rent and extra for furniture. Suspect ask victim to expect furniture delivered to the home. Victim received an email from the furniture company in Florida asking victim to send above amount so they could deliver the furniture. Victim sent $3,824.71 through Western Union from his own account. Victim deposited suspects check; Bank notified him that the check was fraudulent.

Items Stolen: Clothing, Jewelry, Cash, Ski equipment

Victim reported to Deputy upon returning home from an out of state trip, she left her luggage in her vehicle over night. Victim stated that when she went to get her luggage from the vehicle she noticed that  her luggage was missing which contained the listed items. Case is still under investigation.
