On the above date the above victim reported that sometime between 10:00 pm on Monday (2/13/2012) and 2:00 pm on Tuesday (2/14/2012) unknown subject's gained entry into his unlocked vehicle's. Victim reported no item's within the vehicle's were taken advising miscellaneous vehicle paperwork was scattered throughout each vehicle. No signs of forced entry were observed on either vehicle.

On Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 2:41 AM deputies responded to a residence at the location in reference to a person yelling. Upon arrival it was determined that the suspect and victim had been involved in a verbal altercation. The altercation turned physical when the suspect thre the victim's cell phone and broke it.

On Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 10:35 PM Suspect #1 was operating the vehicle when it struck a residence at the location. Suspect #1, who had consumed alcoholic beverages, pointed a double barrelled shotgun at Victim #1. Suspect #2 had entered the residence without permission from Victim #2. Upon arrival of deputies, Suspect #2 was attempting to hide the weapon.

The above listed stole item was valued at about $2338.00

On Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 1:20 AM deputies responded to the location in response to a report of a Man Down. Upon arrival at the scene, the vicitm was found lying in the roadway suffering from a severe head injury. The victim had no signs of life and was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene. It is apparent that the victim was struck by a vehicle that was traveling west at the location. The victim appearred to have been crossing the roadway in a northerly direction. The unknown driver of the unknown vehicle fled the scene.

Stolen: $30.00 cash
Victim reported that on 2-13-12 at approximately 5:00 while playing at the community park on Cypress Street she observed two male subjects near her car. She yelled at the male subjects who fled the scene in a silver in color Pontiac Grand Am. Victim reported damage to her door and $30.00 cash taken from within the vehicle. Case is still under investigation.

Suspects: Michael Martinez Age: 23 Santa Fe Jorge Moreno Age: 18 Santa Fe
Deputy responded to the SF County Jail and learned tha inmate Michael Martinez had struck a Detention Officer in the face with a closed fist. Inmate Jorge Moreno also struck two different Detention Officers during the same altercation. Both were booked for Battery upon a Peace Officer. The three Detention Officers sustained minor injuries.
