ARRESTED:  ANTONIO D. MEDEZ, 33 YOA MALE, SANTA FE AREA

CHARGES:  CARELESS DRIVING, DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED OR REVOKED DRIVERS LICENSE.

ON THIS DATE AT ABOVE LISTED LOCATION, SUSPECT WAS STOPPED FOR CARELESS DRIVING WHEN HE ALMOST HIT SHERIFF'S DEPUTY.  SUSPECT WAS FOUND TO HAVE A REVOKED DRIVERS LICENSE WITH THE ARREST CLAUSE  ATTACHED.  SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED AND TRANSPORTED TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER  AND BOOKED.

Location:  1022 Camino Don Emilio, Santa Fe, NM (West Alameda)

On 8/23/11, deputy was dispatched to the above location in reference to a larceny.  Victim stated that he left his residence at 0800 hours and then received a call from a family member indicating his yard was flooded.  Victim stated that when he returned home he noticed misc. garage door pieces, carberators, starters, an oven, automobile hoods, and engine heads were taken.  Estimated value of items taken is $1250.00.  Victim stated that while suspects were on the property they must have ran over a spigot in the yard damaging it.  Estimated damage amount is pending.


CASE 0211012441 / ASSAULT AND BATTERY AGAINST A HOUSEHOLD MEMBER / 08-22-2011

LOCATION:  200 BLOCK OF HAOZOUS ROAD, TURQUOISE TRAIL AREA

ARRESTED CRUZ DOMINGUEZ, 42 YOA MALE, SANTA FE AREA

CHARGES:  ASSAULTN OF A HOUSEHOLD MEMBER AND BATTERY OF A HOUSEHOLD MEMBER.

ON THIS DATE DEPUTIES WERE SENT TO ABOVE LSITED LOCATION AND INVESTIGATION SHOWED WHERE SUSPECT HAD BEEN ASSAULTING VICTIM AND THEN STARTED PUSHING HER INTO ANOTHER ROOM.  SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED AND TRANSPORTED TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER AND BOOKED ON ABOVE LISTED CHARGES.

 


CASE 0211012439 / BURGLARY-LARCENY-CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY / 08-22-2011

LOCATION: 100 BLOCK OF SAN PEDRO WAY, SOUTH SANTA FE AREA

ITEMS STOLEN OR DAMAGED:  WESTING HOUSE 32" LCD TV AND A WINDOW WAS DAMAGED, ITEMS VALUED AT $400.00

ON THIS DATE ATA ABOVE LISTED LOCATION, VICTIM REPORTED BETWEEN AUGUST 19TH, 2011 AT 5:00 PM AND AUGUST 22, 2011 AT 8:30 PM UNIDENTIFIED SUSPECT (S) FORCED OPEN THE BEDROOM WINDOW AND REMOVED ABOVE LISTED ITEM.  CASE IS UNDER INVESTIGATION AT THIS POINT.


0211012404 Burglary

Location: Aaron Y Veronica (El Rancho area)

Stolen: Prescription Medication- Lortab 650, Lortab 900, Zanex, Amptritolyinne, Tinnazineine, Trazadone, and Tramidol.

Victim reported that between the hours of 9:30am and 12:00pm on August 21, 2011, unknown person's gained unauthorized entry into her residence while her son was asleep in the residence. Once inside the suspect stole several bottles of prescription medication from her bedroom. No damage was reported and nothing else in the residence appeared to be taken or disturbed.

The above listed items stolen were valued at about $500.00

Location: 2108 Camino Polvoso, Santa Fe, NM. (Rufina)

On the above date, victim report that between 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. unknown suspect(s) unlawfully gained forced entry into the above stated address. Once inside the unknown suspect(s) went through the victims drawers. Nothing was found to be missing. This case is pending further investigation.


02.11.012431 / Burlary (Auto) / 08.22.2011

Location: 2653 Walnut, Santa Fe, NM 87507. (Cottonwood MHP)

Stolen: Kenwood CD car stereo, 1300 Watt amplifier, one 12" subwoofer and housing.

Victim report that between 11:00 p.m. on 08.21.2011 and 3:00 a.m. on 08.22.2011 unknown suspect(s) unlawfully gained forced entry into his 1992 Chevy Pickup at the above stated address. Once inside the unknown suspect(s) removed the above stated items. This case is pending further investigation.

The above listed stolen items were valued at about $ 570.00


Case# 0211012361 Motor Vehicle Crash (Fatality)

Location:  State Road 14, Mile Marker 24 (South of Madrid, NM)

Vehicle:  Silver, 2003, Victory, Motorcycle

Driver:  Kevin Tran, 39, Albuquerque, NM

Passenger:  Cindi Pham, 35, Albuquerque, NM

On Sunday, August 21, 2011 at approximately 12:21 PM Tran was operating the vehicle north at the location attempting to negotiate a left curve.  For reason(s) unknown, Tran lost control of the vehicle allowing it to leave the roadway on the right side and striking a guardrail. Both Tran and Pham were ejcted from the vehicle.  Tran traveled down an embankment and was pronounced dead at the scene due to apparent head injuries.  Pham was transported by ambulance to Christus Sain Vincent Regional Medical Center were she was treated for non life threatening injuries to her legs and admitted.  Neither Tran nor Pham were wearing a helmet.  Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this crash.

Location: Casa Solana Center (900 W. Alameda) Santa Fe, NM

Suspect/Arrested: Janelle Garcia (AKA: Janelle Aranda) (30 YOA) 1804 Paseo De La Conquistadora Santa Fe, NM 87505

Other Charges: Agg. Assault on a Peace Officer, Criminal Damage to Property, Possession of a controlled substance: Heroin, Possession of drug paraphernalia, Resisting or Obstructing a Peace Officer.

On Aug. 18, 2011 Agents received information that the above suspect who was wanted on an outstanding warrant issued by the 1st Judicial Dist. Court, was in a vehicle in the parking lot of the above location.  Upon the agents arrival the suspect was located in a silver in color Hyundai Sonata.  As agents exited their vehicle to make the arrest the suspect put her vehicle into drive and intentionally rammed into the Sheriff Agent's vehicle in an attempt to flee the parking lot.  After a brief struggle with the suspect, Agents were able to remove her from the vehicle and place her into custody.  After being placed into custody the suspect was found to be in the possession of drug paraphernalia which contained a brown substance which field tested positive for Heroin.  Subject was booked at the Santa Fe County Detention Center on the outstanding warrant as well as the above charges. 

 


0211012292 Injuring or Tampering with a Motor Vehicle

Location: Aspen Loop (Cottonwood MHP area)

Damaged: Red, 2007 Ford Focus. 1997 Green Ford Explorer, Black 2002 Suzuki

Victim reported that between 8/19/11 at 1900 and 8/20/11 0630 an unknown person(s) shattered several windows on the above listed vehicles belonging to the same victim. The vehicles were parked in the victim's front driveway at the time of the incident.

The damage to the vehicle was estimated to be over $1200.00
