On this date Deputies responded to the above address in reference to a death investigation. The victim (68 year old male) was found unresponsive and not breathing by a family member. There were no signs of foul play at the scene and it appears to be of natural causes at this time.

Arrested: Jose Alvarenga-Castillo, 32-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.
On 01-20-2012 at about 2:00a.m. a traffic stop was conducted on Mr. Alvarenga-Castillo's silver in color 2000 Ford Contour after it was observed failing to stop for a stop sign as it traveled on Rufina Street through the intersection of Jemez Road. The driver, Mr. Alvarenga-Castillo was found to be intoxicated and was arrested accordingly.

Location: Mile Marker 180, Southbound US Highway 84/285
Arrested: Oton Arzaga, 38-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.
On 01-19-2012 at about 10:57p.m. a traffic stop was conducted on Mr. Arzaga's green in color 2003 Chevrolet truck after it was observed swearving while traveling southbound on US 84/285. Mr. Arzaga was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol, his driver's license was also found to be revoked for prior DWI's. He was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

Stolen: Toshiba laptop Computer and modem, misc. costume jewelry
Victim reported that sometime between 2:00pm and 3:20pm on 1-19-12 unknown suspect(s) gained unauthorized entry into an east facing bedroom window by breaking the window. Once inside the suspects stole the above stated items. Case is still under investigation

Damaged: Rear window of 1994 Chrysler Lebaron
Victim reported that sometime between 8:30am and 12:45 pm 1/19/19 unknown person(s) threw a rock through her rear window of her 1994 Chrysler Lebaron while it was parked in the parking lot. A medium sized rock was found inside the vehicle. Case is pending investigation.
The damage to the vehicle was estimated to be over $1800.00
