Suspect: Thomas Herman Flores, age 48, Santa Fe, NM
On 3/31/12 deputy responded to assist Santa Fe Police Department on an armed robbery in which the suspect took off on a motorcycle. It was later learned that the motorcycle was stolen from the above location. The motorcycle was a 1983 Yamaha black in color which did not have a license plate. The suspect then ditched the motorcycle and took off running. Suspect was then apprehended and arrested. Santa Fe Police Department took over the investigation and charged the suspect. Victim estimated the value of the motorcycle to be $800.00.

Suspect: Jennifer Nicholson, age 33, Santa Fe, NM
Charged: Warrant for Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer
On 4/1/12 it was learned that the suspect was released from the Las Vegas Mental Health Center in Las Vegas, NM. Suspect was suppose to be held on a 72 hour hold. Contact was made with the Law Enforcement agencies in Las Vegas, NM in an attempt to pick up the suspect due to having a warrant for her arrest. San Miguel County Sheriff's Deputy made contact with the suspect who then placed her under arrest and relayed her to a Santa Fe County Deputy. Suspect was then arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Center on a warrant for Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer.

Stolen: One (1) bottle of Oxycodone tablets and One (1) bottle of Oxycontin tablets
Victim reported that sometime between March 31, 2012 at 12:30pm and April 1, 2012, at 2:30 pm, unknown persons gained unauthorized access into the victim’s house and took the above items. There were no signs of forced entry to the residence. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

Victim reported bewteen 03-31-201 aqt an unknown time and today's date, April 1, 2012 at 7:43 pm. unknown persons gained unauthorized access into the victim’s house (Under construction) and took the above items. There were no signs of forced entry to the residence. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

A report of an activated alarm at the above location was investigated and the investigation revealed that unknown persons gained unauthorized access into the victim’s house and took the above items. There were signs of forced entry to the residence. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

Location: residence off of Valle Pinon, Santa Fe, NM (near Tano Road)
On 4/1/12 deputy was dispatched to above area in reference to a burglary. Victim stated that they left the residence at 0700 and returned at about 1700 hours to find the residence broken into. Victim stated that the suspects gained entry into the residence through a patio door. Victim stated that the suspects took a flat screen TV, an Apple Mac Pro, 2 Ipods, an Ipad, prescription drugs, and $360.00 in cash. Victim stated that the suspects also damaged the refrigerator door, a screen, a door, a lamp and several chairs in the residence. Estimated value of the items taken is $3235.00. Estimated damage amount is pending.

Victim reports he was involved in a verbal argument with his step-son who came home intoxicated. Victim advised his step-son attacked him from behind and strangled him almost rendering him unconscious. The above listed suspect was arrested and taken to ADC where he was charged and booked accordingly.

On Sunday March 31, 2012 at 1:43 am Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies received a call for service in regards to a suicidal female. Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies arrived on scene and the suicidal female barricaded herself in the residence with a small, black in color, semi automatic handgun. Deputies attempted to negotiate with the female to surrender the weapon and come out of the residence. The female was not complying with any verbal commands at which time Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies encountered the female in a hallway pointing the weapon at them. Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies advised the female to drop the weapon and the female wouldn’t. One shot was fired by a Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputy, not striking the female, and the female sought cover within a bedroom.
Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office S.W.A.T. Team was activated and arrived at the scene. The female was still irrational and not complying with any verbal commands. The female demanded her purse be brought to her and Santa Fe County S.W.A.T. complied with the demand. The female attempted to retrieve the purse from the porch at which time Santa Fe County S.W,A.T. implemented the use of a Taser. The female was struck with the Taser and then taken into custody without incident at 7:40 am on today's date.
The female was transported to Christus St. Vincent's Hospital for a mental evaluation where she currently remains with an involuntary hold for observation. This case is under investigation and charges are pending.
