Stolen: HP Laptop Computer

Victim reported that sometime between 1/1/12 and 1/8/12 some unknown person burglarized his pickup truck as it was parked in front of his residence. Unlawful entry was made by unknown means and once inside the vehicle the above listed items were stolen valued at about $1079.00. The computer has been entered into NCIC.

Arrested: David Baca, 31-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

    On 01-10-2012 at about 2:30am while conducting an investigation Mr. Baca concealed his identity by providing a false name and date of birth.  He was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Location: 2 Vista Del Monte, Allsups

Arrested: Robert Hill, 56-year-old male from Cincinnati Ohio

    On 01-09-2012 at about 11:00pm Deputies were dispatched to the Allsups store in reference to a male who was harassing customers.  Upon arrival contact was made with Mr. Hill.  Deputies and Allsups employees asked Mr. Hill to leave the property but he refused.  He was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Victim reports he received a letter in the mail indicating he had three outstanding warrants out of the state of Texas totaling $1,040.00 for citations.  Victim reports in the times he was in Texas he was never issued any citation.  At this time it is unknown who has been using the victims identity.  Case still under investigation.

Location: Calle Debra, Santa Fe, NM (La Cienaga)

Stolen: 55" black LG Flat Screen T.V. and a black HP laptop computer

On the above date, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. victim reported an intruder unlawful gained entry to the above stated address. No signs of forced entry, it appeared that the suspect used the dog door. Suspect is pending further investigation.

The above items stolen were valued at about $2000.00

While deputies were investigaing a Residential Burglary,  Shawn Rivera was located in the area and confirmed an active Arrest Warrant for him.  He was taken into custody without incident.

Victim reports  home was entered by force between 1/6/12 and this date through front door and two TVs with various DVDs are reported missing.  Case is under investigation. 


0212000397 Criminal Damage/Breaking and Entering 1-7-12

Deputy assigned: Joann Pacheco

Location: Avenida Vista Grand/ Railroad tracks (Eldorado area)

Damaged: SF Southern Railway Train

Victim reported that sometime between 12/31/11 and 1/6/1 someone gained unauthorized entry into a broken down train cart and sprayed a fire extinguisher all over inside the cart. The train was sustained several broken windows and graffiti to the outside of the cart. Investigation still pending.

The damage to the vehicle was estimated to be over $2500.00
