Suspect: Miguel Silva       Age: 34      Santa Fe,NM

Vehicle: 2006 Silver Kia Sportage  

Deputies responded to location in reference to a motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival Deputies located listed vehicle which had crashed into a rock wall, chain link fence and utility pole. Driver of vehicle fled the scene and was located a short time later in the same area. Suspect who fled was the registered owner of vehicle and admitted to driving vehicle. Driver was found to be impaired and was given sobriety tests. Driver displayed signs of impairment and was arrested. Subject submitted to chemical testing with the results being .18, .18 .  Subject was booked into jail.


Case#0211016184 / Battery against a household member / 10/30/2011

Location: residence on Sunset Canyon Lane

Arrested: Ismael Galvan, 24-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

    On 10/30/2011 at about 9:30pm Ismael was involved in an altercation with his mother.  He pushed his mother into a bed frame causing her to receive minor injuries.  He was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

Location: US Highway 84/285 mile marker 177, Southbound

Arrested: David Estrada-Oaxaca, 33-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

On 10/30/2011 at approximately 2:31am a traffic stop was conducted on Mr. Estrada-Oaxaca's vehicle after he was observed swerving out of his lane of travel.  He was found to be intoxicated and was arrested accordingly.

Location:  Hyde Park Overlook parking area

    On October 29th 2011 at approximately 9:00pm two male individuals were involved in a fight at the overlook parking area on Hyde Park Road.  One of the male individuals was stabbed multiple times by the other male.  The investigation is ongoing.   


Case#:  0211016177/ Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date:  10/30/11

Location:  1100 block of Village Way, Santa Fe, NM (Fairway Village Subdivision)

On 10/30/11 deputies were dispatched to the above residence in reference to a residential alarm.  Upon deputies arrival it was observed that the residence had been burglarized.  Deputies noticed that the back glass door had been shattered.  Once inside the suspects took misc. DVD's, an X-box game, misc. jewelry, and a laptop computer from the residence.  Estimated value of items taken is pending.  The suspects had thrown a rock through the glass door and caused it to shatter.  Also the rock had damaged the bamboo flooring in the dining room.  The suspects also dismantled the alarm system.  Victim noticed that the suspects also cut a screen to the back door area.  Suspects entered the victim's yard by kicking the wooden fence and damaging the fence.    Estimated damage amount is about $1600.00.


Case#:0211016131/Attempted Breaking and Entering, Criminal Damage to Property, Larceny/Date: 10-29-2011

Location : 200 Block of Santa Fe County Road 84, Santa Fe, NM (El Rancho Area)

Stolen: 150 feet Electrical Cable and 3 feet Copper Pipe with fittings Total Value: $550.00

Suspect: Pending

On October 29, 2011 victim reported to deputies a neighbor notified her on October 22, 2011 there was a bad natural gas leak coming from the above location.  It was found the the above items were removed from the residence.  Further investigation revealed the unknown suspects attempted to gain entry into the above location through a west facing door.  Estimated damage was valued at $300.00.  Case still under investigation.


Case#:  0211016180/ Multiple convictions of battery or aggravated battery, Battery on a household member/ Date:  10/30/11

Location:  35 Calle Lazo Errante, Santa Fe, NM (off of Agua Fria)

Suspect:  Eddie Sanchez, age 37, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Mulitiple Conviction of Battery or Aggravated Battery, Battery on a household member

On 10/30/11 victim advised her boyfriend that she no longer wanted to be in a relationship.  Victim stated that the suspect then swung at her and missed.  Victim then stated that the suspect then punched her in the mouth and wrestled with her on the couch.  Victim got away and called 911.  Suspect was located nearby and was placed under arrest.  It was learned suspect has been arrested 4 other times for battery on a household member.  Victim showed signs of injury.  Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.


Case#:  0211016170/ Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date:  10/30/11

Location:  200 block of Santa Fe County Road 84,  Santa Fe, NM (Jacona)

On 10/30/11 victim reported that between 10/29/11 at 1430 hours and today at 1420 hours unknown persons gained unauthorized entry into her residence by kicking in the front door.  Victim stated unknown persons damaged the door, door frame, and the door knob.  Victim stated that the suspects then took misc. jewelry, 300 DVD's, a laptop computer, 60" Sharp flatscreen TV, and a Sharp blu ray player.  Estimated value of items taken is $13,800.00.  Estimated damage amount is $650.00.

Location:  residence off of Camino Alondra, Santa Fe, NM (La Cieneguilla)

On 10-30-11 deputies were dispatched to above location reference to a stolen vehicle. Victim stated that her grandmother had given her a 1999 white in color Suzuki Vitara  as a gift. Victim stated that she had left her vehicle at her home yesterday at seven in the morning and returned today around noon to find her vehicle missing.  Victim stated that she and her grandmother have recently had a falling out and she believes that her grandmother took the vehicle.  Estimated value of the vehicle is $2,500.00.


Case#:  0211016064/ Aggravated Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property/ Date:  10/28/11

Location:  200 block of Santa Fe County Rd. 88, La Puebla, NM

On 10/28/11 deputies responded to above location in reference to a Residential Burglary. Victim stated he left his home around 0820 hours arrived back around 1145 hours.  Victim advised he noticed the front gate to his property was open and his dogs were loose in the yard. Victim stated he then noticed the front door to his home was pried open. Victim advised upon entering his home, he immediatley noticed that the unknown persons stole a 10mm Colt handgun, a .17 HMR revolver, binoculars, and misc power tools.  Estimated value of items taken is $2785.00.  Estimated damage amount is $100.00.
