Location: 3400 block of Calle Po A Pi, (Airport Road Area) Santa Fe New Mexico

Deputies responded to an unattended death at the above listed location.  Victim a 69 year old male was found by a family member unresponsive inside (victims) residence.  Victim was unresponsive to medical personnel and OMI (Office of Medical Investigator) was contacted.  No foul play is suspected.  Case is under investigation.


0211006904, DUI, Failure to Stop at Stop Sign, Possession of Marijuana, 5-19-2011

Deputy Assigned: L. Martinez

Location: Agua Fria Road (Agua Fria Village area)

Arrested: Crystal Hernandez, Age: 24, Santa Fe New Mexico

Deputy observed motor vehicle fail to stop at stop sign.  Deputy conducted a traffic stop on vehicle and made contact with the above listed driver/suspect.  Deputy observed signs of impairment and conducted several test and determined above suspect was impaired.  Deputy placed above suspect under arrest and discovered marijuana in her vehicle while conducting an inventory search.  Deputy transported and booked the above listed suspect accordingly into the Santa Fe County Detention Center. 


0211006813 ( Auto Burglary, Larceny, Criminal damage to property, May 17th 2011)

Deputy assigned: Tim Benavidez

Location: US 84/285 and Hill Trail Drive (North Santa Fe County)

Stolen: Two Sthil demo saws, 1 wheel barrow, 1 Generator, 1 Dewalt drill, 2 diamond blades, 1 bag of safety glasses, misc hand tools and several utility locks.

Victim reported between Monday May 16th 2011 at 6:15am and May 17th 2011 at 6:15 pm some unknown person(s) unlawfully entered his white 1996 Ford F-250 pickup truck and removed the above stated items. The vehicle was parked in a construction zone with other heavy machinery. Suspects are pending further investigation.

Value of items stolen $ 4,030.00

Suspect: pending

Victim reported sometime on 5/17/2011 suspect forced netry into the victim's residence by prying open the front door.  The susppect stole $400.00 cash from within the residence.

Victim reported between 2:00pm and 4:00pm on 5/17/11 unknown person entered her apartment through an unlocked balcony door and stole currency from the victim's closet.


Case#0211006852 / Larceny / 05/17/2011

Location: Cities of Gold Casino, Pojoaque N.M.

Item stolen: $2,400.00 cash

Suspect: Lorraine Torres, 60 years old from Santa Fe N.M.

Victim reported she was playing a slot machine at the Cities of Gold Casino.  When the victim finished playiing the machine she left an envelope with $2,400.00 cash on the machine and walked away.  When she returned to the machine a few minutes later her money was gone.  Video surveillance showed the above suspect, an employee of the casino take the money.  The suspect admitted to taking the money and hiding it in the womans restroom.  Suspect was arrested and charged with larceny.


0211006800 / Criminal Sexual Penetration / 05-16-2011

Location:  5000 block Agua Fria Street   Santa Fe,NM

Victim reported that between May 11, 2011 and May 13, 2011 a male who she recently met, sexually assaulted her on two occassions. Victim identified the suspect and the Deputies notified  the investigations division. Case is currently under investigation.


CASE 0211006772 / BURGLARY, LARCENY, CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY / 05-16-2011

DEPUTY ASSIGNED:  DEPUTY JULIE YORK

COMMANDER:  SGT. CLIFTON L. COLEMAN

LOCATION:  100 BLOCK OF LAS LOMAS, VALLE VISTA AREA

ITEMS STOLEN OR DAMAGED:  SECURITY CAMERA, PHOTO SENSOR, & DRAIN FLANGE, UNKNOWN VALUE AT THIS TIME.

On 5-16-11, Deputy was dispatched to the above address. Upon making contact with the reporting person, Victor Gonzales he stated that when he arrived to work this morning at eight he noticed that the security camera on top of the building was damaged and the photo sensor light was also damaged. 

Mr. Gonzales went into the office and reviewed the video and on Sunday May 15 at 952am several juvenilles climed on top of the roof and one of the suspects, Jovanni damaged the camera and light. The other suspect opened the unlocked utility doors of a county vehicle parked in front of the building and took the above listed item.

The item was recovered, case was referred to JPO.

ON THIS DATE AT ABOVE LISTED LOCATION, VICTIM REPORTED BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 1:00 AM AND 9:30 AM, SOMEONE ENTERED HER 2001  VOLKSWAGON JETTA AND REMOVED THE ABOVE LISTED ITEMS.  CASE IS UNDER INVESTIGATION.

Items stolen: Colt M-4 long rifle, 12 guage shotgun, DPMS AR-15 long rifle, Remmington 30-06 long rifle, miscellaneous electronics, jewelry, several knives, and U.S. currency.

Victim reported that suspect entered their residents and removed the above listed items.  Victim reported the burglary possibly occurred on 4-18-11.  Deputies did not discover any signs of forced entry into the residence.  Case is under investigation.
