The above suspect threw a punch at a correctional officer when he was directed to enter a holding cell. Officer was able to block the strike and secure the suspect. Incident was observed and recorded on facility surveillance cameras. Subject was booked for Battery against a Peace Officer.

Deputies were informed of a wanted subject at the listed location. Deputies located the subject and after speaking with him he gave a false name and date of birth. Suspect was identified through jail records and he was found to have outstanding warrants. Suspect was taken to jail and charged accordingly.
