On 7/27/11 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to an auto burglary. Victim stated that her vehicle was broken into at 2100 hours on 7/26/11 and 0500 hours on 7/27/11. Victim stated that her black and silver JVC stereo was removed. Estimated value is $350.00. Unknown suspects used some type of tool to pry open the driver's side door. Estimated damage amount is $300.00. Vehicle is a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am silver in color.

SUSPECT WAS STOPPED FOR TRAFFIC VIOLATION, FAILURE TO DIM LIGHTS AT THE ABOVE LISTED LOCATION. INVESTIGATION FOUND WHERE THE SUSPECT WAS DRINKING AND IN POSSESSION OF AN OPEN CONTAINER OF ALCOHOL. 16 YOA FEMALE PASSESNGER HAD BEEN DRINKING (.02 BrAC) AND A 19 YOA MALE HAD AN OPEN CONTAINER AND HE HAD A .15 BrAC. SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED ON ABOVE LISTED CHARGES, JUVENILE WAS REFERRED TO THE JUVENILE PROBATION OFFICER AND THE OTHER PASSENGER RECIEVED A CRIMINAL CITATION. SUSPECT WAS TRANSPORTED TO TEH ADULT DETENTION CENTER AND BOOKED. THE VEHICLE WAS IMPOUNDED.

On 06/24/2011 victim was involved in a motor vehicle crash in their 1996 Pontiac. On 07/01/2011 the victim went to recover their vehicle from the tow company that towed the vehicle from the scene of the crash. The tow company had already sold the victim's vehicle to a scrap yard, one week after towing it from the scene of the crash. The invetsigation is ongoing.
