Driver was stopped for speeding and failure to maintain his lane. Investigation determined that the suspect had been drinking and was impaired. The driver was arrested. An inventory of the vehicle was conducted at which time two baggies of suspected cocaine was located in the vehicle.

Suspects vehicle was observed driving slowly in the parking lot of several businesses that were closed. A welfare check was done on the vehicle. Contact was made with the driver . The investigation concluded that the driver admitted to drinking two beers and showed signs of impairment. Suspect submitted to a breath test that was over the legal limit. Suspect was arrested.

On 11-24-10 a vehicle was located in the area of Santa Fe County Road 56C known as "The Camel Tracks". The vehicle was located on its roof and had been burned beyond recognition. The only identifiers that could be located near the vehicle were three Toyota symbols and a Toyta hubcap. Due the condition of the vehicle no owner could be contacted and it is unknown if the vehicle is stolen. No witness or suspect information is available at this time.

On November 25, 2010 at 4:53 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the location and was unable to maintain a single lane of travel. The suspect was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and submitted to a Blood Test. The results of this test are pending. The suspect was found to be in possession of a substance suspected of being heroin as well as a bottle cap used for the purpose of preparing heroin for injection.

Victim reported that sometime between November 24th 2010 1:30 pm and this date at about 5:30pm his residence was burglarized. Some unknown person unlawfully entered the above residence through the kitchen window and stole the above listed items. A maroon in color Chevy Cavalier was seen in the area at about 10:00am. This incident is under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
The above listed stolen items were valued at about $900.00

Victim’s son in law stated that at about 2:00pm on this date he was working in his shop when he noticed a male walk past his window headed towards his mother in laws home. He went to her home to check on her and when he walked in the two males were in the house holding a flat screen television in their hands.The both suspects attempted to leave the house. The second male was grabbed by witness and a short scuffle occurred. The male got away and they ran to an awaiting vehicle. The witness followed the males and observed a dark green passenger car pulling away.
The males are described as being between 12 to 15 years old. One was wearing a red jacket and was approximately 6'0 tall 150 pounds with black hair, the other was wearing a gray hoodie was approximately 5'8" tall 130 pounds with blonde hair

Victim reported that sometime between 4:00 p.m. on 11-22-10 and 8:00 a.m. on 11-23-10 an unknown person(s) entered onto the above property and gained unlawful entry into 4 vehicles and 5 RV's. The unknown suspect(s) caused damage to said RV's and vehicles and also stole a stereo/CD player and a Pioneer Surround Sound system from two of the RV's. No suspect or witness information is available at this time.
