Victim: 23 YOF 

Arrestee: Abel Vasquez 18 YOM

Deputies were dispatched to a report of Criminal Damage. Upon investigation however, it was discovered that Mr. Vasquez entered the Victim's residence without authorization. After entering, her proceeded to trash the place and damaging her belongings in the process. Mr. Vasquez admitted to the allegations. Mr. Vasquez will be summoned into court for charges of Burglary and Criminal Damage to Property.   


Case#2024001691/Fraud/4-1-24

Address: Camino Potrillo 

Victim: 75 YOF

Deputies were dispatched to a report of fraud. Upon investigation, an unknown person made withdrawls in the amount of 855 dollars. The account is a joint account with her ex-husband who has no knowledge of the withdrawls. There is no suspect information at this time. 


Case#2024001686/Criminal Trespass/4-1-24

Address: 2 Avenida Del Sur

Arrestee: Isaac Garcia 32YOM

Today, deputies were dispatched to the Allsups convenience store in reference to a male who was refusing to leave the property. Contact was made with Mr. Garcia who was escorted off the the property. Mr. Garcia was advised not to return as he was no longer welcome there. Later today, however, Mr. Garcia returned. Mr. Garcia was located at the store again and was placed under arrest. 


Case#2024001680/Burglary of Motor Vehicle-Larceny/4-1-24

Handling Deputy: J. Barron

Address: Bishops Lodge Road

Victim: 25 YOM

Today, Deputies were dispatched to a report of a burglary. Upon investigation, an unknown suspect(s) broke out the window of the Victim's vehicle. The Victim's belongings were then stolen. At this time, there is no suspect information.  


Case #2024001677 - Aggravated DUI (2nd Offense - 0.16 or above), 3/31/2024

Deputy Assigned: C. Lattin

Commander Entering: Cpl. A. Hancock 

Location: Interstate 25, Mile Marker 269

Arrested: John Calvert (60 YO)

Deputies were dispatched to the La Bajada rest area in referance to a reckeless driver who parked at the location. Contact was made with the driver of the vehicle, who advised he consumed multiple alcoholic beverages before driving. SFST's were attempted until the suspect became non-compliant. Breath results revealed 0.26/0.26 BAC. Subject was arrested and charged accordingly. 


Case #2024001674 - Battery and Criminal Damage Against a Household Member - 3/31/2024

Assigned: Cpl. A. Hancock

Commander Entering: Cpl. A. Hancock

Location: Interstate 25, Mile Marker 286

Arrested: Horacio Padilla (73 YO)

Dispatch recieved 911 calls for a female advising she was being hit. A short time later the female was located at a gas station, and advised she was slapped in the face. After she told the suspect to get out of the vehicle, he threw her phone out the window, which resulted in a cracked screen. Suspect was found and admitted to hitting the victim. He was arrested and charged accordingly. 


Case#2024001670/Aggravated Burglary-Larceny/3-31-24

Handling Deputy: J. Dillinger

Address: Cerrillos Road

Victim: Santa Fe Police Department

On 3/31/2024, Deputy responded to the above address in reference to an off duty SFPD officer's vehicle being burglarized. Upon investigation, an AR-15 Rifle and a less lethal shotgun were stolen from the vehicle. There is no suspect information at this time.   


Case#2024001668/Driving While License Revoked/3/31/2024

Handling Deputy: A. Gallardo

Address: El Llano Road/Los Lujans

Arrestee: Steven Montoya 34 YOM

Deputy Gallardo conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. Upon contact with the driver, it was discovered his driver's license status was revoked (DWI) related. Mr. Montoya was arrested without incident.  


Case #2024001665 - Criminal Damage & Battery Against a Household Member, Open Container - 3/30/2024

Deputy Assigned: C. Lattin

Location: Paseo Galisteo

Arrested: Shiann Perez (22 YO)

Deputies responded to the address in referance to a domestic dispute. Investigation revealed the suspect hit the victim with a key lanyard, and damaged an electric bicycle. While Deputies were at the residence the suspect passed in front of the house. A traffic stop was conducted and an open container was observed in the vehicle. Suspected was arrested and charged accordingly. 


Case#2024001652/Unattended Death/3-30-24

Handling Deputy: J. Dillinger

Entering Commander: Corporal D. Martinez

Address: County Road 102, Santa Fe County

Decedent: 33 YOM

Today, deputies were dispatched to a residence in reference to an ambulance assist. The caller dialed 911 but was too hysterical to provide any information. Upon arrival, deputies located a male, deceased. The male was deceased too long for any life saving procedures. It appears the male hung himself. There were no signs/evidence to indicate his death to be suspicious. OMI later responded and recovered the decedent.
