Victim reported that unknown persons entered his home through his garage by forcing open the side door. Once inside the unknown suspects took the above items. The burglary took place at some point between on September 13, 2010.

On 09-13-10 tDeputies were dispatched to Los Pinos Road in reference to a silver SUV flashing headlights at on coming traffic. Thecontact was made with Chevy Trailblazer at which time the driver showed signs of impairment. The driver submitted to the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was subsequently placed under arrest. The driver submitted to a breath test with results of .14/.14 BrAC. The driver was also found to be in possession of marijuana and a metal pipe with marijuana residue. He was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

On September 12, 2010 at 10:34 PM the victim was operating the vehicle at the location with the suspect, an unidentified Hispanic male, as a passenger. The suspect struck the victim in the head with an unopened can of beer. When the victim eixited the vehicle to get away from the suspect, the suspect fled the area in the victim's vehicle. The victim sustained a laceration to his head.

On this date Deputies responded to the above address in reference to an unattended death. The victim (56 year old male) was found deceased at his residence by a family member. CPR was conducted but was unsuccessful. It was determined that the victim died of natural causes; there were no signs of foul play. Victim had a lengthy medical history.
