Location: Ramirez Thomas Elementary School, Santa Fe NM

Stolen: Purse with credit cards and $30.00 cash

 Victim arrived at the school on this date at about 2:10pm and returned to her vehicle at about 2:25pm to find the driver side window broken. The above listed items were in the back seat on the floor and were valued at about $500.00. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

Victim reported that her vehicle was burglarized over four weeks ago, while parked at Ten Thousand Waves. The vehicle’s passenger window was broken out and a gym bag was taken. No other information.

Location: SFCRD 84 El Rancho, NM

On the above date, the above named officer responded to the above location regarding the above investigation.  Upon arrival, victim advised that between February 8th and today's date, person(s) unknown gained unlawful entery into his garage and stole a plasma welder valued at $600.00.  For further information, refer to officer's report.


0210001452 Residential Burglary 02-22-10

On the above date, the above named officer responded to the above location regarding the above investigation.  Upon speaking with the victim, she advised that upon her arriving home, she came upon a dark blue or black in color SUV or mini van in her drive-way.  She advised that there were two males in the vehcle, and when they saw her, they sped off.  Upon the victim checking the home, she noticed that the suspects had forced open the front door and stole a 32" Sony HD-TV.  For further information, refer to officer's report.

Location:  2900 block of Mora Lane, Santa Fe, NM

On 2/21/10 victim wanted to file a report on her residence being burglarized.  Victim stated that unknown suspect(s) gained entry through a kitchen window and broke it.  Also broken inside the residence was a small wooden locked box.  Victim stated that what she noticed missing at this time is 2 CD players, 50 DVD's, and misc. jewelry.  Estimated amount of items taken at this time is $1060.00.  Estimated damage amount is about $100.00.

Charges: Battery against a Household Member

On 2/21/10 Deputies responded to a Domestic ensued, and the suspect punched her in the face, lower abdomen, and pulled her hair. Suspect then left and went to his residence, where he wasarrested and charged accordingly.


Case# 0210001417-Trafficking/DWI

Location of incident: Constellation/Riverside Dr

Suspect/arrested: Luis Burrola-Chavez age 25

Charges: Trafficking controlled substance (COCAINE) , DWI, Driver must be licensed , Driving while license suspended/revoked, Duty upon striking fixture or other property upon a Highway, No proof of insurance or registration

 On Sat 2/20/10 , Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash/hit and run, in which the suspect was driving a 1999 Ford Mustang, yellow in color, bearing NM plate# KMD-551. Suspect made a turn from Airport Rd, on to Constellation and struck an 18 wheeler rear axle, that has been parked on the shoulder for an extended period of time. Suspect totaled out the entire front end, but was able to drive it to his residence,, 3704 Gunnison Rd. Suspect was located inside his residence, and claimed that his friend was driving, and did not know his whereabouts. Further investigation revealed that the suspect was infact the driver, and was fount to be under the influence of drugs. Suspect was arrested, and charged accordingly. Suspect was taken to St. Vincent Hospital for treatment of injuries, and a bllod kit was obtained.

Location: Arroyo Viejo Stolen/Recovered: Malteese Dog
**Case Under Investigation, Suspect Pending**
Victim has an active Restraining Order in place against her husband giving her full access to the above home. Victim went home to find that the home was entered into and the dog was stolen. Also inside the home, there was several items damaged, photos and mail. The dog was found at the suspect’s parents home. The parent’s mother stated that the suspect went with her to get the dog. The suspect had left out of state.
