Victim: 58 YOM
Victim reported his vehicle broke down near aforementioned location so he had to leave it on the shoulder overnight. Sometime throughout the night, unknown suspect(s) broke a window and gained access to the vehicle. Once inside they stole a jacket and other documents. Suspect(s) also cut the battery cable and cut off the catalytic converter. Case is under investigation.

Arrested: Munoz-Portillo, Joel 28 YOM
Deputy was approached and advised of an ongoing road rage incident. Suspect vehicle was located and driver fled on foot. Suspect was apprehended a short time later and taken into custody. It was learned the suspect had six active warrants for his arrest. Suspect was charged and booked into Santa Fe County Jail.

Arrested: Pete Sisco Age: 53 Rancho de Taos, NM
Santa Fe County Deputies initiated a traffic stop with Mr. Pete Sisco after comfirming his vehicle was being driven with expired registration and no insurance. Upon approach, and contacting Mr. Sisco, it was determined Mr. Sisco was driving his vehicle while his license was revoked for a prior DWI. Mr. Sisco was arrested and taken to the Santa Fe Adult Detention Facility where he was booked accordingly.

Location: US 84/285 - State Road 106 Espanola, NM
Arrested: Victor Diaz Age: 32 Espanola, NM
Santa Fe County Deputy initiated a traffic stop with V. Diaz after she observed a traffic violation. Upon contacting Mr. Diaz, he told the deputy he had a warrant and also a revoked license. The deputy confirned Mr. Diaz statements and arrested him without incident. Mr. Diaz was booked into the Santa Fe Adult Detention Facility.

Stolen: U.S. Currency
Victim reported unknown suspect(s) stole Christmas cards from their mailbox. The Christmas cards had checks that family mailed to them. The signatures on the checks were forged and cashed at a local bank. This has been reported to the bank. Case is under investigation.

Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash. The vehicle was located down the road from the crash site. The driver showed signs of impairment and admitted to drinking. The driver was arrested and refused to provide a breath sample. The driver was booked into Santa Fe ADC.

Deputies were dispatched to the above location regarding an unattended death. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the calling party who advised she located her father deceased. There were no signs of foul play and OMI was contacted.
