Suspect: Jolene Lovato ( 31 YOA FEMALE) 

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to an embezzlement. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the victim had loaned a vehicle to the suspect in May 2024. The victim had sent several text messages to the suspect requesting the return of the vehicle. Initially, the suspect responded with various excuses, but eventually ceased all communication. The suspect has been charged accordingly.

Location: E Ramada Way, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Destiny CdeBaca, 25YOF, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to an unrelated call. While on scene, it was discovered the above subject had a bench warrant for her arrest. The subject was placed under arrest, transported, and booked accordingly into SF ADC without incident. Original Charge: Battery on a HHM, Deprivation of property of a HHM, and Criminal Damage to property. 


Case#2024003578/Warrant Service/7-13-24

Location: Vuelta Ventura, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Anthony Alfaro-Rodriguez, 25YOM, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies conducted a stop-and-talk on the above subject. During the interaction, deputies learned the subject had an active bench warrant for failure to appear: careless driving. The subject was arrested, transported, and booked into SF ADC without incident. 


Case # 2024003504 Agg. DWI 7-10-24

Assigned: M. Olivas

Entering: Sgt. E. Webb Jr. 

Location: NM 14/Kachina Road 

Arrested: Clarence "Cal" Barreras 63 yoa male (Socorro)

RECC recieved a call about a vehicle traveling in opposing lanes on NM 14 s/b. The vehicle was located and contact was made with the driver, Mr. Barreras. The driver admitted to marijuana use, painkiller usage, and smelled heavily of an intoxicating beverage. Driver also advised he had just left a Grateful Dead concert and was traveling to Socorro. Subject showed signs of impairment and was arrested. He also refused chemical testing as required by law. He was booked into SF ADC without incident. 

 


Case#2024003502 Burglary 07-10-24

Assigned: D. Lovato 

Entering: Sgt. E. Webb Jr. 

Location 1500 block of Lujan Lane (Espanola)

Victim reported between Saturday July 6th,2024 and Tuesday July 9th an unknown person entered their residence and stole two TVs, a microwave, and a VCR. Case is under investigation.

Location: NM 76 (Espanola)

Arrested: CHERESPOSY, JON J 37 yoa male (Espanola)

Deputies were conducting close patrols in Espanola CIty, when they discovered the Subject walking in the Santo Nino Area. He was identified and found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Santa Fe Municipal Court for shoplifting. He was booked into SFADC without incident.  


Case #2024003471 / Burglary of a Motor Vehicle - Criminal Damage to Property - Larceny / 07/08/2024

Location: I-25 / Mile 294

Stolen / Damaged: Misc. Tools - Toolbox / NM License Plate 144WBF / Broken Window

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a larceny.  The victim reported her vehicle had a flat tire and she was returning to the location to change it out.  When she arrived she noticed that her license plate was stolen and her front passenger window was broken.  It was reported tools were also taken.  The license plate was entered into NCIC.


Case #2024003461 / Breaking and Entering - Criminal Damage to Property / 07/08/2024

Location: 35 Camino Justicia (Santa Fe County Fire Department)

Arrested: Lawrence Gray (27 YOM)

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a burglary. During the investigation, it was discovered the suspect entered the building through a window and rummaged through the facility. No items were reported stolen during the investigation.  While on scene, fire personnel located the suspect inside the ambulance, asleep on a gurney. The suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the SFCADF.


Case#2024003458 Trafficking a controlled substance/ Felon in possession of a firearm/ Warrant Service 07-08-24

Entering: Sgt. E. Webb Jr. 

Location: St. Michaels Drive & Cerrillos Road

Arrested: Marcos Salazar 27 yoa male (Santa Fe)

Subject was stopped for a traffic infraction. Subject was found to have an active warrant out of the First Judicial District Court for failing to comply with his conditions of release (original offense of Felon in possession of firearm). Subject was taken into custody, and found to have a handgun hidden in his waistband. During an inventory of the vehicle, a bag containing a large amount of suspect fentanyl was located. Subject was arrested and booked without incident. 


Case #2024003451 / Burglary of a Motor Vehicle - Larceny / 07/07/2024

Location: Big Tesuque Canyon

Victim: 77 YOM

Stolen: Blue in color, 27 Inch, Santa Cruz, Mountain Bike (Valued $3,900.00)

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a larceny.  Sometime between 6:00 pm on 7/6/24 and 10:00am on 7/7/24 suspect(s) entered the victim's property and made entry into his vehicle.  Once inside, they stole the above mentioned item.  The item was entered into NCIC.
