Victim reported that unknown persons put sugar in the gas tank to her vehicle.  Victim said the persons had to have damaged her vehicle sometime between 11/21/09 at 1700 hours and 11/22/09 at 1100 hours.  Victim estimates damage amount at being $4000.00 and does not have any suspects information at this time.

Charged: Assault on a household member, Interference with Communications, Criminal Damage to Property

On 11/20/09 suspect and victim were involved in an argument after suspect arrived at her residence and asked to stay because his electricity had been turned off.  During argument suspect ripped telephone out of wall and caused victim to fall to ground.  Suspect also broke a stovetop and kicked in a door.  Estimated damage amount is pending.  Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Location:  2700 block of Aspen Loop, Santa Fe, NM (Cottonwood MHP)

On 11/21/09  between 0630 and 1500 hours, unknown suspects entered residence by prying open front door.  Suspects removed a flat screen TV, a portable DVD player, misc. power tools and misc. medication from inside the residence.  Estimated value of items taken is $10,000.


Case #:  0209010201/ DWI, Careless Driving/ Date:  11/22/09

Location:  State Road 599 Frontage Road and Paseo de River, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  Jeep Peterson, age 54, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  DWI, Careless Driving

On 11/22/09 deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to a one vehicle rollover crash with injuries.  Driver admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages and 2 Oxycotin pills prior to crashing. Driver showed signs of impairment in which he had bloodshot watery eyes and slurred speech.  Deputy detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath.  Driver was transported to St. Vincent Hospital for treatment and a blood draw was done.  Suspect was then transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center and booked accordingly.

Suspect:  Luis Hernandez-Godina, age 38, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Battery on a household member, Criminal Damage to Property

On 11/22/09 deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to a domestic disturbance.  Upon arrival contact was made with victim who had red markings on her neck and stated that suspect choked her and threw her against the wall.  Victim stated suspect grabbed a cellphone belonging to her employment and damaged it.  Estimated damage amount is pending.  Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Suspect: Pending

On 11-22-09 between 12:00pm and 1:00pm some gained entry to the victim's vehicle while she was in church. Several items of value were taken. There are no suspects at this time.

Arrested: Nathan Martinez 24yoa

On the above date, the above named officer was dispatched to the above location regarding an inmate that was found to have Marijuana and some pills in his possession.  Defendant was charged and rebooked on the above charges.  For further information refer to officer's report.

On the above date, the above named officer was dispatched to the above location regarding a stuck vehicle.  Upon arrival, contact was made with the defendant.  Officer ran a check for warrants and the defendant returned with two active arrest orders out NMSP and the Espanola Police Department out of the Rio Arriba Magistrate Court.  He was transported and booked accordingly at the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center.

Arrested: Hugo Mendoza-Terrazas 20yoa

On the above date, the above named officer responded to the above location to assist a fellow officer on a possible intoxicated driver.  The initiail officer witnessed the driver with fresh damage to his vehicle and a tree branch attached to it.  Upon initiating a traffic stop, officer noted signs of impairment.  Defednant was arrested and booked at the adult detetion center.  For futher information, refer to officer's report.

Victim: 55 year old male

Property Stolen: Milwaukee Sawzall ($200), Hitachi Hammer Drill ($500)

 

Victim reported that sometime between 11-20-09 at 4:00 p.m. and 11-21-09 at 11:00 a.m. an unknown person(s) forced entry into a storage room at a construction site located at the above address.  Victim advised that the only tools that appear to have been stolen are a Sawzall and a Hammer Drill.  There is no suspect or witness information available at this time.
