Victim reported she observed a black truck back up to her garage. Two male subjects exited the vehicle and gained unlawful entry into the garage/sunroom area. The male subjects observed that they were being watched by the victim and fled the area without taking anything from the residence. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriffs Office.

Deputies responded to an unlawful taking of a motor vehicle in the above area. Upon entering the above mentioned vehicle into NCIC a hit response returned out of Espanola NM. The vehicle had been located last night when the driver was arrested for DWI. The driver had been incarcerated at the juvenile detention center by Espanola PD. JPO was notified and suspect was charged and booked for burglary / Unlawful taking of a motor vehicle.

Victim reported that sometime between 1700hrs on 11/11/09 and this date at about 0600hrs, some unknown person(s) gained entry into the fenced portion of the construction site by cutting the gate locks. Suspects stole the above items from some heavy equipment the items were valued at about $4500.00

Driver was stopped at a DWI Enforcement Checkpoint at the above location. Upon contact with the driver the odor of intoxicating liquor was detected on his breath. On 11-11-09 the above individual was involved in an altercation with a Correctional Officer. The above individual struck the Officer in the right ear, causing bruising. Suspect had also grabbed the Officers arm and caused redness to both forearms. He was charged accordingly.
