Arrested: David Baros - age 41, Santa Fe, NM
The above suspect was involved in an altercation at a residence and left the scene in his vehicle. Deputies had a description of the vehicle and located it at the above location. When contact was made with the driver, they observed signs of intoxication and impairment. The driver was arrested and his breath results were .18 and .17. He was booked into ADC accordingly.

Deputies responded to an activated alarm at the above location and found forced entry to a storage building. The suspect(s) had apparently tried to steal a snow blower from inside, but left it just outside the building. No other items were missing. No suspects or witnesses are known at this time.

The above driver was stopped for speeding and failing to maintain the lane of traffic. The driver showed signs of impairment and admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages prior to driving. He was placed under arrest and his breath test results were .12 and .14. The driver was booked into ADC accordingly.

On 01-17-09 at approximately 1430-hours Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a deceased male. The male was found inside his residence. There was no signs of foul play observed at the scene.

The victim reports her residence was burglarized between 10:08pm and 10:32pm on 1/16/09. Signs of forced entry were evident at the back door. Several electronics valued at about $1127.00 were stolen from inside. No suspects or witnesses are known at this time.

The victim reports she was sleeping at home when a male suspect, wearing a mask entered her home. The suspect broke through her locked bedroom door and began striking the victim in the face and grabbing her throat. The suspect then fled the home and the victim called 911. The victim sustained lacerations and bruising to the face, neck, hands, and legs. The Criminal Investigation Division responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. At the time of report, the suspect had not been identified or located.

Deputies responded to the above location on 1/17/09 regarding a fight in progress. The investigation showed there was an altercation in which one male held a knife to another males throat. The suspect was placed under arrest at the scene and transported to ADC for booking.

On the above date deputies responded to an activated alarm at the above location. Upon arrival it was determined that entry to the residence had been made. Contact was made with the responsible party who was not sure if anything was stolen. No force was used to enter the residence so no damage was reported.
