On this date Cpl Chavez was sent to the Adult Detention Center due to an inmate being found to have contraband in his possession during a cell check by a detention officer. Investigation showed where suspect was found to have contraband to wit: heroin and a syringe, tabacco and rolling papers. suspect was charged on the above listed charges there at the Detention Center.

ON THIS DATE WHILE CONDUCTING AN INVESTIGATION ON A BURGLARY CASE, DETECTIVE LOCATED ABOVE LISTED SUSPECT. SUSPECT WAS FOUND TO HAVE A SANTA FE COUNTY WARRANT FOR HIS ARREST FOR FAILURE TO APERA AND HAS AN ICE DETAINER. SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED WITHOUT INCIDENT AND TAKEN TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER

Suspects: Matthew Lacassne Age 23 Santa Fe
John Barela Age; 45 Santa Fe
John Barela And Matthew Lacassne were both arrested for burglary after they entered a barn on a property located in the 100 block of General Goodwin and stole several bails of hay. They were both located at a mutual freind's, 385 General Goodwin along with most of the hay. Lacassne was also charged with resisting arrest.

On this date it was reported that sometime between 3/16/09 5:00pm and 3/17/09 at 8:00am some unknown persons burglarized four trucks parked on the county property located on Galisteo Street. The unknown person stole an unknown amount of tools from assorted toolboxes that were located in the back of the trucks. On this date at about 7:27am, the victim reported that he had went to work where he had left his vehicle parked over the weekend. Victim stated that his vehicle was paked and secured behind the building on friday 3/13/09 and upon his return this morning noticed that it had been stolen. This incidnet is currently under investigation by the Sheriff's Office.
