Sometime between 10:40am and 3:00pm on 10-15-08 unknown person pryed open a west facing window screen. Entry was gained at that point and the above items were taken from the residence. Case is currently under investigation.

Victim reported that a forged check was drafted out of his checking account.  He stated that unknown persons, wrote the check and cashed it for $950.  The victim was not aware of what the check looked like or where it was cashed.

Stolen : 2005 Kntaire, 5th Wheel Camper. Value $5000.00

 

Victim reported that sometime between 12/15/2004 and 9/13/2008 some unknown person(s) stole the above camper from the Rancho Viejo Storage. The RV was entered into NCIC and the stolen vehicle affidavit was signed.

Location: SF County Rd 84A - El Rancho

Victim reported someone entered his residene between 12:00pm and 9:00pm on 10-14-08 and stole several items of electronics and computer equipment.  Their value was estimated at about $3000.00. No suspects or witnesses are known at this time.

Arrested: Josephine Ortega - age 27, Santa Fe

Above driver was stopped for having an expired registration sticker. Her driver's license was found to be revoked pursuant to a DWI. She was placed under arrest per the arrest clause and she was booked accordingly.

On 10-14-2008 between 2:00pm and 7:00pm someone had broken into the above residence. Entry was gained by kicking in the upper bedroom door. Once inside the above items were taken. This case is currently under investigation.

Victim reported that on 10/13/08 at about 1:00pm some unknown person used victim’s credit card to purchase two lap top computers from a Best Buy store. Victim stated he was notified by Best Buy that the purchase had been made. Victim denied making the purchase and closed his credit card account.

Victim reported that sometime between Oct 2007 and April 2008, her house sitter stole the above items from within the residence. The suspect agreed to pay the money backed but then failed to.

Victim reported that his 14 year old daughter was sexually assaulted by a male subject in the early hours of 10/12/08. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriffs Office.

On 10/13/08, Victim stated that unknown person(s) entered her residence possibly with a key and took 2 letters from inside her residence.  Victim noticed that a 30 day notice was placed on the front door.  Victim suspects it was her landlord that took the 2 letters and gained entry due to nothing else being missing.
