On 02-13-09 the victim stated that she was away from her residence from 1230-hours and 1530-hours. The victim stated that she was unsure on how the suspect(s) gained entry. Once inside the residence the suspect(s) removed the above items. This case is currently under investigation.


0209001394 DWI/Contributing to the Diliquency of Minors/Reckless Driving/Resisting Arrest/Minors under the influency of Alcohol

Location: State Rd. 14 SFNM

Arrested: Marisa Domionguez 22yoa, Diana Diaz 19yoa and Eric Chacon 18yoa

On the above date, officers were dispatched to the above location regarding a pursuit by the Santa Fe City Police Department.  Ms. Dominguez was operating the vehicle driving in the opposite lane of traffic refusing to stop for officer.  Upon making contact all occupants displayed signs of being under the influence of alcohol.  Ms. Dominguez submitted to a Preliminary Breath Test and was arrested and charged with DWI Reckless Driving, Evading or Resitng Arrest and Contributing to the Diliquency of Minors x3.  All of the other occupants of the vehicle were under the age of 21 and charged with minors under the influence.  There was one other 16 year old that was released to his parents.


0209001391 Neglegent Use of a Firearm/Arrest by Warrants 02-13-09

Arrested: Adam Valdez 22yoa and Patrick Flores 22yoa

On the above date officers responded to the above location regarding a domestic disturbance involving a firearm.  Upon arrival officers spoke with the complainant who advised a male subject Adam Valdez and Patrick Flores were arguing.  Officer located a firearm on Mr. Valdez who was highly intoxicated.  Mr. Flores advised that Mr. Valdez never threatened him with the firearm.  Upon checking warrants on both subjects, Mr. Flores came back with two active arrest orders and was arrested.  Mr. Valdez was arrested for neglegent use of a firearm.

On 02-12-2009 the victim reported that her boyfriend had hit her several times in the face and arm area. Victim attempted to get away but was pulled back by the suspect. The suspect attempted to sexually assault her. The suspect refused to allow the victim to leave. Criminal Investigations was contacted and took over the investiagtion.

On 2/12/09 vehicle was stopped for fleeing an area at a high rate of speed and person(s) were identified in which the suspect had an active warrant out of Sandoval County for failure to appear.  Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Unknown suspects entered residence through unlocked front door and removed misc. jewelry, misc video games and a Dell Laptop computer from within.  Residence was left unlocked by owner.  A set of footprints was located and photographed.  Estimated amount of items taken is $8990.00.

Location of arrest:  18 N. Sierra Place, Santa Fe, NM (Valle Vista Subdivision)

Suspect:  Mario Maldonado-Rivera, age 22, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Contributing to the delinquency of a minor, Possession of a controlled substance to wit:  Marijuana

Suspect was observed smoking marijuana in parking lot of above address.  Contact was made with occupants who were sitting in a vehicle.  A strong odor of marijuana was emmitting from the vehicle. Suspect turned over a black in color container with a green leafy substance.  Substance tested positive for marijuana.  Two 17 year old males were inside the vehicle.  Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.


Case#:  0209001357/ Shooting at or from a motor vehicle, Aggravated assault/ Date:  02/12/09

Location:  South Meadows & Primo Colores, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect and victim came in contact on Airport Road and Academy Road.  Suspect and a male passenger opened fire with a handgun.  Victim's vehicle was struck several times.  Victim fled eastbound on Airport Road with suspect following him.  Victim turned left onto Zepol Road then left onto Calle Nueva Vista.  Victim turned west onto Rufina Street.  Suspect opened fire again, striking victim's vehicle again.  Victim stated he was able to lose suspect when he turned into the Primo Colores Subdivision.  No injuries  were reported on scene. Investigations was called and took over investigation.  Suspect could not be located.

Location:  3900 Camino Juliana, Santa Fe, NM

Between the dates of 01/01/09 and this date, unknown suspect(s) entered the residence and damaged several interior doors.  Suspect(s) also consumed several bottles of Budweiser and left them on a table.  The apartment has been vacant since January of 2009.  Estimated damage amount is $200.00.

On the above date the victim reported that sometime between the hours of 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM someone gained entry to his residence through a bedroom window. The suspects stole 2 bottles of Tequilla, a DVD player and a Sanyo Home Stereo.
