On Monday, October 13, 2008 at 1:55pm, Mr. John Martinez reported that a residence owned by his mother at 1616 Jordan Logan Road had been broken into some time between Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 3:00pm and Monday, October 13, 2008 at 1:50pm.

 Martinez stated that the house is in fact vacant and that there was nothing taken from the inside of the house, but that the black security door on the East side of the house had been forced open, causing damage to the door jam and the door lock.

Location:  6100 block of Airport Road, Santa Fe, NM (Country Club Gardens)

On 10/13/08 a burglary was reported at the above address.  Unknown suspect(s) entered the residence through a window located on the southside.  Victim left on vacation and then noticed that someone entered his residence.  Nothing was stolen but suspects tore some clothing.  Unknown suspect(s) also threw a rock to the victims vehicle.  Estimated damage amount to window is about $250.00.

Location:  Avenida del Sur and A van u po, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  Toni Gobin, age 23, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Agg. DWI, Careless Driving

Driver was involved in a serious one vehicle roll over collision on Avenida del Sur and A van u po.  Driver was traveling at a high rate of speed when she lost control of her vehicle.  Driver had a strong odor of an consumed alcoholic beverage on her breath and person.  Driver was placed under arrest and advised of the NM Implied Consent Act and provided a blood sample.  Two passengers inside the vehicle were injured from the crash.  Suspect was then transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Suspect:  Libby Margaret Yvonne Vigil, age 29, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Concealing ID, Bench warrant out of District Court for Failure to appear

On 10/14/08 deputies responded to a loud music call at eh above address.  Deputies hear the music coming from inside the residence.  Contact was made with persons inside who refused to cooperate.  A female refused to give her information and was later identified as Yvonne Vigil.  It was found that she was Libby Margaret Yvonne Vigil and had an outstanding warrant out of District Court for failure to appear.  She was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Arrested: Lawrence Catanach, 57 yoa, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Battery Against a Household Member, Interference with Telecommunications

Deputies responded to a 911 hang-up call. Upon arrival, a domestic dispute was found to be in progress. Deputies learned that the argument was over the picking and giving away of pinon nuts. The victim reported that the suspect grabbed her by her throat and attempted to drag her out of the residence. When the victim used her cell phone to call for help, the suspect took the phone away and threw it into the yard, breaking the phone. The defendant was arrested and booked accordingly.

The victim reported that between the hours of 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM, unknown person(s) shattered the driver's side rear window and entered into the victim's vehicle stealing above listed items.

The victim reported that on Thursday, October 9th, 2008, a hired maintenance person entered into the victim's residence and stole two iPODs.

Arrested: Fernando Hernandez, 48 yoa male, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: DWI, Following Too Closely

The above named defendant was involved in a motor vehicle crash. The defendant drove his vehicle into the rear of another vehicle at above location. The driver was found to be under the influence and was arrested at the scene. Breath test results were .14 and .14. The defendant was booked accordingly.

Suspect: 60 yoa male

Victim: 38 yoa male

The victim reported that the suspect arrived on his property without permission. When the victim approached the suspect and told him to leave, the suspect obtained a handgun from his vehicle and pointed it at the victim. The suspect then fled from the area.

Location:  3991 Camino Juliana, Santa Fe, NM (Cedar Creek Apts.)

Suspect:  Santiago Garcia, age 20, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Assault on a peace officer, Minor under the Influence

On 10/13/08 deputies were dispatched to 3991 Camino Juliana in reference to a large fight in progress.  Deputies arrived in the area, in which a male subject ran to the rear of building 3 and hid behind some bushes.  Deputy located subject in which the subject was going to charge at deputy.  Deputy tased subject and placed him under arrest.  Suspect was highly intoxicated.  Ohter deputy made contact with a male individual who stated that he was beaten up by several males.  He could not provide information on the males that battered him.  Victim stated that they had been drinking.  Victim sustained a cut on his head, face and near his eye.  He refused medical treatment.  Suspect was then transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.
