Deputies responded to reports of a burglary at the listed address. Investigation revealed an unknown person, entered the victim's residence and stole a Macbook Air laptop computer. No suspects have been identified at this time and the investigation is ongoing. 


2023003768/ POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE & BRINGING CONTRABAND INTO A PRISON/ 6/21/2023

DEPUTY ASSIGNED: R. WEBER

COMMANDER ASSIGNED: CPL. S. COLES

LOCATION: SANTA FE COUNTY ADULT DETENTION CENTER

SUSPECT: ALEXANDER LUCERO 26 YOM

ABOVE STATED SUSPECT WAS TRANSPORTED FROM A CORRECTONAL FACILITY IN NEW MEXCIO. PRIOR TO LEAVING THE OTHER FACILITY SUSPECT WAS ASKED IF HE WAS POSSESSION OF ANY ILLEGAL DRUGS AND SAID "NO".UPON ARRIVAL AT THE SANTA FE COUNTY ADULT DETENTION CENTER SUSPECT WAS FOUND IN POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE. SUSPECT WAS CHARGED AND BOOKED ACCORDINGLY. WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.


Case#2023003760/Criminal Damage to Property and Larceny/6-21-23

Location: Loma Blanca, Santa Fe County, NM

Stolen/Damaged: Catalytic Converter ($500), Vehicle ($3,800)

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival, it was learned the victim had parked his vehicle outside the residence; when the victim returned to the vehicle, an unknown suspect(s) cut and stole the catalytic converter from the vehicle—causing $3,800 in damage.


Case #2023003760 Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property

Location: Loma Blanca, Santa Fe

Deputies responded to the location in reference to a larceny. Deputies were advised the catalytic converter to the victim’s vehicle had been cut off and stolen. No suspect information at this time.

SUSPECT: ANTHONY P. KAPINSKI, 30YOM

SUBJECT ARRIVED AT DISTRICT COURT AND WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY (REMAND ORDER) BY ORDER OF THE JUDGE. SUBJECT WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE SANTA FE COUNTY ADULT DETENTION CENTER (ADC) WHERE HE WAS CHARGED AND BOOKED ACCORDINGLY WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

Location: 100 Block of Gualdo Road

Taken: $6200 

Victim reported coin base notified him of the aforementioned amount was taken out of his crypto account. Victim account was hacked. 


2023003714-Aggravated Battery on a household member-False Imprisonment

Deputy Assigned: J. Lujan

Location: 100 Block of Churchill Road

Victim: 59 Year Old Female

Suspect: Levi Rael(59)

Victim reported she and suspect are getting a divorce. Suspect held victim down and did not let her leave. Suspect also struck victim with his truck while leaving the residence. Suspect was found and taken into custody without incident.

Victim: 81 Year old Male

Taken: $ 4900

Victim reported for the second time the same check number was cashed for a different amount to a Melvin Autrey. Bank is not reimbursing him, for unknown reasons. 


2023003738-Wire Fraud

Location : 100 Block of Mirissa Lane

Taken - $255.80

Victim: 24 Year Old MAle

Victim reported he received a negative balance from his bank. He called his bank and someone was charging items from a custom shop in Arizona. He put a hold on his account. 


Case #2023003702 Fugitive From Justice

Location: Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility, Santa Fe

Arrested: Gary Odonel, 43 YOA male, Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched to ADF in reference to an inmate found to have a felony warrant out of another state. Deputies charged the male with being a fugitive from justice. The male was rebooked into ADF.
