On 11-23-2007 at 8:19 AM, Driver #1 was operating Vehicle #1 south at the location. Driver #2 was operating Vehicle #2 north at the location. For reason(s) unknown, Driver #1 lost control of Vehicle #1 and allowed it to enter the center median. Vehicle #1 crossed the center median and entered the northbound lanes. As a result the left front fender of Vehicle #2 struck the right front fender of Vehicle #1. Driver #1 was transported by ambulance to St. Vincent Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 8:57 AM. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this crash. The roadway was snow packed and icy at the time of the crash.

Victim reported that as her vehicle was parked at the above location an unknown person broke a window on the vehicle and gained entry. A brown leather bag was stolen from inside the vehicle. The brown bag and its contents was located in the area. No suspects or witnesses have developed.

The suspect began arguing with his girlfriend. During this time suspect became angry and threw a telephone at his girlfriend while she was holding thier 2 year old daughter, stricking the child in the face, causing minor injuries. When the girlfriend attempted to call 911, the suspect hung up the phone. Suspect was arrested.

Sometime between 11-20-07 and the above date someone entered a utility shed by prying open the door. Once inside the suspect(s) took several spray paint cans. They then used the cans to spray graffiti on the property. Evidence was collected and the case is under investigation.

Juvenile female went to school on November 20, 2007 but did not return to her foster parents home. Female called and told foster parent that she was at a friends house. The femal is also listed as a runaway from two other foste rparents. One in Taos and one in Albuquerque.

A male subject arrived at St. Vincent Hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg at about 2:00am. The wound was non life threatening. Victim stated that he was shot by a relative during an argument in the La Cienga area. Case is under investigation.

Charges: Recieving transferring stolen property.
While following up on a burglary in the area of west Alameda, information was gained about a suspect possibly in possession of stolen property. A traffic stop was done on the described vehicle, at which time the suspect was located with a large amount of clothing with price tags and securtiy ink tags. It was determined that the property was from Sears Department Store. The items were valued at $1097.44. The suspect was arrested and charged.
