Arrested: Donald Houston, 42 yrs male charged w/aggravated assualt against a household member and Yvette Maestas, 41 yrs female charged w/ resisting and obstructing an officer
Deputies arrived at the scene in response to call for domestic abuse. Household members stated the above male was beating the above mentioned female. When attempting to arrest male the above female did not want him arrested and tried to obtruct the officers.

Charges: Aggravated DWI. Abandonment or abuse of a child, Roadways laned for traffic
Driver was stopped for failing to maintain her lane. Investigation revealed that she was intoxicated and impaired. Chambless had a child in the vehicle at the time of the stop. She was arrested.

Arrested person was contatced after being involved in an auto accident with injuries. It was found that Arrested person was intoxicated. He was placed under arrest after several signs of impairment were noted. Driver submitted to a blood test.

Benjamin Lucer-Hernandez was arrested for Aggravated DWI after being stopped for crossing over a double yellow line and showing signs of impairment. He had an open can of beer in plain view and a Bac of .16 or greater.

Charged: Driving on a suspended/revoked driver's license, possession of drug paraphernalia, littering
On 3/1/08 at 0044 hours, Torres while operating his vehicle on I-25 mm 278 threw a piece of waste food trash out of his vehicle while it was in motion on the roadway. Upon contact with the suspect, he admitted to smoking marijuana. Suspect was found in possession of a metal smoking device and zig-zag rolling papers. A check with DMV revealed suspect license was suspended/revoked with the arrest clause. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Driver was observed making a left turn into oncoming traffic in front of a Sheriff's unit almost causing a crash. Upon contact with driver, she showed signs of impairment. SFST's were administered and she was read the NM Implied Consent and refused to give a breath sample. Suspect was then transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Suspect was observed traveling southbound on Interstate 25 at milepost 265 and was failing to maintain his lane of travel crossing the fog line several times. Upon contact with the driver a strong odor of alcoholic beverages was detected on drivers breath and several open containers of beer were also observed in the vehicle. Driver submitted to breath test and the results were .25 & .25 Driver was booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Center on the above listed charges

On 2-27-2008 at 8:21 PM, the suspect was operating the vehicle west at the location and failed to stop for a posted stop sign. The suspect failed to bring the vehicle to a stop when given a signal to do so. The suspect threw a packet of suspected cocaine and a packet of suspected heroin out of the window of the vehicle prior to stoping. Once the vehicle was stopped, 15 more packets of suspected cocaine were located. The suspect was unable to produce proof of insurance. The license plate being displayed on the vehicle should have been displayed on another vehicle. The suspect is on supervised probation, therefore Probation and Parole issued an arrest order for the suspect.
