Victim was acosted by a male suspect. Victim held at knife point and forced to drive to an unknown location, where she was raped. Victim was cut with knife on her neck. Victin taken to St. Vincent's Hospitol, where she was treated for her injuries. Case is under investigation.

Victim reports that her vehicle, a 1992 Honda SW, was burglarized sometime overnight, 1/29/08. A pair of cross country skis were stolen from the trunk. No supects or witnesses are known at this time.

On 1/30/08, a 70 year old female was found lying on the bathroom floor by her husband. Victim could not be resuscitated by medical personnel. Victim had heart problems along with other major illnesses. Victim was pronounced deceased by OMI. No signs of foul play could be located.

Suspect: Roxanna Pierce, age 49, McGregor TX
Charged: Aggravated DWI, Driving on Divided Hwys, License to be exhibited on demand
On 1/30/08 at 2057 hours, RECC was notified of a wrong way driver on SR599. The vehicle was reported driving northbound in the southbound lanes approaching the Ridgetop Road exit. The vehicle was signaled to stop by several witnesses who were nearly struck while traveling southbound as the above suspect traveled northbound. Upon arrival, suspect admitted to operating the above vehicle and was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor. The above suspect admitted to consuming 3 alcoholic beverages prior to operating vehicle. Ms. Pierce aws taken into custody and refused to submit to a chemical test. She also could not locate her driver's license. She was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

The suspect battered both her husband and daughter after a verbal arguement ensued between the three. The victims sustained minor injuries. The suspect was arrested and booked accordingly.

Between 4:00pm on 1/28/08 and 7:00am on 1/29/08, someone entered the construction site at the above location by cutting the chain to the front gate with bolt cutters. A Honda dirt tamper was stolen from the site. No suspects or witnesses are known at this time.

On 1/30/08, victim said that an unidentified suspect(s) entered her barn at about 2330 hours on 1/29/08 without force and stole a black in color saddle with silver, a brown leather saddle, and a brown saddle with silver which were located inside. Partial footprints were located and no latent prints were located. Estimated value of property is $2900.00.

Charged: Bench warrant out of District Court for Violation of conditions required for suspension of contempt sentence and a bench warrant out of Magistrate Court for failure to pay fines and Failure to report to alcohol treatement.
Deputies were dispatched to SR 599 to meet the father of a female who stated that his daughter was involved in a domestic with her boyfriend and he was beating her. Deputies followed father and arrived at a residence in the City limits and Santa Fe Police Department arrived on scene. It was then learned that the suspect had 2 active Bench warrants for his arrest. He was then placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

On 1/29/08 at about 2021 hours, suspect was weaving from lane to lane and a traffic stop was conducted. Deputy made contact with suspect and I detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from her breath. SFST's were conducted and she showed signs of impairment. She was then placed under arrest for DWI. The NM Implied Consent was read and she gave a breath sample. Her Brac was .09, .09. She was then transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.
