On the above date unknown suspected broke into the residence causing damage to the structure. The suspect is outstanding .


2022006500/ DEATH INVESTIGATION

LOCATION: STAR SPLASH SANTA FE COUNTY

DECEASED: W/F 63-YEAR-OLD FEMALE

On 11-6-2022, in the early morning hours; Deputy L. Martinez responded to a deceased female; in which the medics had responded to a call for service. The female was deceased upon medic's arrival and life-saving procedures were unsuccessful. There were no signs of foul play. OMI responded and took over the investigation.

Arrested: Erik Wolk, 45 YOM, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies were dispatched to a welfare check. While conducting their investigation, they made contact with the above individual. An NCIC check on the subject was conducted, and it was learned that he had a warrant for his arrest. Deputies placed the suspect into custody, transported, and booked him without incident. Original Charges: Unlawful use of a DL, Revoked DL, Resisting evading or obstructing an officer.


Case#2022006491/Burglary of a Motor Vehicle & Larceny/11-5-2022

Location: 2310 Casa Rufina Santa Fe, NM 

Stolen: Vehicle Registration, vehicle insurance, and misc. documents

Deputy was dispatched to the location in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle. Once on scene and through investigation, it was learned unknown suspect(s) made their way into the victim’s vehicle. The vehicle was believed unlocked, so it did not sustain damage. Once inside, the suspect(s) rummaged through the vehicle, taking the vehicle registration, vehicle insurance, and other miscellaneous documents. This incident remains under investigation.

On 11/4/22, deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a burglary of a vehicle. During the investigation, it was learned unknown suspect(s)  unlawfully entered two vehicles. Once inside, the suspect(s) removed items from inside. The scene was processed. This case is currently active.


2022006467/ RECEIVING OR TRANSFERRING A STOLEN MOTOR VEHICLE

CHARGE: RECEIVING OR TRANSFERRING A STOLEN MOTOR VEHICLE

On 11-4-2022, a subject was found at the Buffalo Thunder Casino in a stolen car. The male was identified as Carlito E. Trask. Based on the vehicle being located by some new technology, the stolen vehicle was located and returned to the owner. Trask was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center. 


2022006489/ POSS. OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE X2

ARRESTEE: TRASK, CARLITO E.-25-YEAR-OLD MALE, SANTA FE COUNTY RESIDENT

CHARGES: POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE- TO WIT: MORPHINE AND BUPRENORPHINE (SUBOXINE).

On 11-5-2022 in the early morning hours, detention staff located an inmate with two forms of controlled substance. This male was in the detention center on other matters but was found in his cell alone with these items listed above. The inmate was identified as Carlito E. Trask. Trask was rebooked into the detention without incident.
