Deputies received a call about a reckless driver on NM-14 & NM-599. Deputies were able to locate the vehicle on Bisbee Ct. Upon contact, signs of impairment were observed. A DWI investigation was conducted. The driver was placed under arrest for DUI. Breath samples provided resulted in 0.24 & 0.22.
Case #2026003425 Aggravated Battery

Arrested: Alejandro Hernandez Sigala, 29 YOA male, Santa Fe
Deputies responded to the location in reference to a male stating he had slit his brother’s throat. The calling party advised he was contacted by the suspect while he was feeding livestock. The suspect stated he had been in a fight with his brother and slit his throat. Deputies arrived on scene and contacted the suspect who admitted his slit his brother’s throat during an argument. Deputies Contacted the victim who had had injuries consistent with the suspect’s statements. The suspect was subsequently booked into The Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility for aggravated battery.
Case #2026003426 Unattended Death

Location: 200 block County Road 84, Santa Fe
Deceadent: 49 YOA male, Santa Fe
Deputies responded to the location in reference to an unconscious male. Deputies arrived on scene with Santa Fe County Fire Department medical personnel. Life saving efforts were administered, but unsuccessful. No signs of foul play were observed. The Office of the Medical Examiner (OMI) were contacted and responded to the scene.
Case #2026003405 Aggravated DWI, Careless Driving

Arrested: Renee Mendiola, 56 YOA female, Santa Fe
Deputies responded to the location in reference to a motor vehicle collision. Deputies contacted the driver and observed signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.
Case# 2026003398/ Disorderly Conduct/ 6/26/26

Arrested: Leo Petry, 31 YOM
Deputies were called in reference to a male yelling at neigbors and making threats. Upon investigation, male was placed under arrest and booked accordingly at the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Arrestee was stopped for BOLO (Be on the Lookout) in reference to a stolen motor vehicle. Upon making contact, deputies found the driver was revoked with arrest clause. Male was taken into custody and booked accordinlgy at the Santa Fe County Detention Facility.

STOLEN: Silver 06' Toyota Tacoma, NM Plate- 530SYT (identifiers 2 small stickers on rear window)
Victim reported vehicle was taken sometime between 4:00pm on 6/25/2026 and 5:00 am this on today's date (6/26/26). Investigation is ongoing.

Location- US 84/285 @ MM 178
Arrested- Cale Grioux (39 year old male/ Santa Fe)
On Friday, June 26, 2026, deputies responded to assist with a traffic stop initiated by Pojoaque PD officers on US 84/285 near mile marker 178. The driver, who was non-tribal, showed signs of impairment, and was arrested for DUI following SFST's. He was transported to the SFSO where he provided breath samples of 0.19 and 0.20 g/210 L. He was booked and charged with Aggravated DUI.
Case #2026003381/Burglary/Larceny/Criminal Damage to Property

Victim: Christopher Selser 75 YOM
On 6/25/26, Deputies were dispatched to CR 84-C and meet with the above victim. The victim learned someone had made entry onto his property through access from the arroyo near CR 84-D. The unknown suspect(s) disassembled the farm gate and made entry. The unknown suspect(s) were found to have cut off the catalytic converter from his 4-Runner and broke the padlock form the small utility shed. The suspect(s) entered and removed all the above items (electric hand tools) which were of the brand name Makita. This burglary is believed to have happened sometime on 6-18-2026.

A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle due to an unknown status. The driver was found to have an outstanding warrant and he was arrested. He was later booked at the SF ADC.
