Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to larceny. During the investigation, Deputies observed the damage and located video of potential suspect(s).
Case #2025004883/4884/ Warrant Arrest x2/ 8/20/25
Assigned- Deputy R. Blea
Entering- Corporal D. Moore
Location- N Riverside Dr (Espanola)
Arrested- Ramon Jaramillo (52 year old male/ Espanola)
Deputy Blea contacted Mr. Jaramillo while on a Welfare Check and he was found to have two active warrants. He was arrested on the warrants and later booked at the SF ADC.
Case #2025004882/ Aggravated Assault, Criminal Damage to Property, Larceny/ 8/19/25

Arrested- Calvin Vincent (48 year old male/ Santa Fe)
Deputies were dispatched to a residence on NM 14 in reference to an aggravated assault. During the investigation, deputies learned that on the previous date an argument ensued that became violent. Mr. Vincent threatened the victim with an edged weapon, which caused the victim to flee the residence. While the victim was away from the residence, Mr. Vincent cause significant damage to the residence and stole several items. Mr. Vincent was arrested and later booked at ADC.

Arrested: Jonathan Martinez, 45 YOM
Deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in progress. The victim reported being in a vehicle on NM 599, headed towards Española. Deputies were able to locate the vehicle and conduct a traffic stop at MM 175 of US 84-285. Upon investigation, it was learned that the subject battered his wife while driving. The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident.

Arrested: Diego Ornelas, 35 YOM
Deputies made contact with the subject during a traffic stop. Upon contact with the subject/driver, signs of impairment were observed. SFSTs were conducted, and further signs of impairment were observed. The driver was arrested and refused to submit to a breath test. The subject was booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident.

Deputies made contact with the subject during a traffic stop. The subject had an active warrant for his arrest for failure to appear on original charges of Battery on a household member, assault, and concealing ID. The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident.

Arrested: Vasquez, Daryl 33 YOM
Deputy conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as having two active warrants for his arrest for Failure to appear on original charges of: No insurance, No registration x 2. He was placed under arrest, transported and booked into Santa Fe County Jail without incident.

Arrested: Jarrod Bearden 38 YOM
Adult Probabtion and Parole contacted the Sheriff's Office and advised Mr.Bearden wanted to turn himself in. Deputy Broyles made contact wtih him, arrested him and booked him into the Santa Fe County Jail without incident.

Location: NM 106/East Sombrillo Road, Espanola
Arrested: Patrick Barela 29 YOA male, Espanola
Deputies observed a vehicle speeding on NM 106. Deputies activated their emergency equipment to conduct a traffic stop on the speeding vehicle. The driver of the vehicle made an abrupt turn resulting in a collision. Deputies contacted the driver of the vehicle and observed signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Decedent: 72 YOM
Deputy responded to location after paramedics advised the decedent was beyond help. Upon arrival, Deputy did not observe signs of foul play. Cause of death appears to be from natural causes.
