Arrested- Nadine Trujillo (48 year old female/ Pojoaque)
Deputies were dispatched to Interstate 25 near milepost 300 in reference to a wrong-way driver (southbound in the northbound lanes). Upon locating the vehicle driving wrong-way near milepost 291, deputies made contact with the driver, who displayed several signs of impairment. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFSTs) were refused, and chemical testing was refused. A search warrant was granted for a blood draw. Once the blood draw was completed the subject was transported to the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center (SFADC), where she was booked without further incident.
Case #2026-003348/Burglary/Larceny/Criminal Damage to Property

On 6/23/26 Deputies were dispatched to the above address in reference to a Burglary. Unknown suspects forced open a wooden door to a storage shed and then supposedly located a house key hanging on the wall of an open storage area. The main residence is currentely under construction, but the reporting party advised the unknown suspect(s) took copper wire, plumbing pipes, and damaged 2 oak rocking chairs. A flathead screwdriver and pipe cutting tool were located in the closet which housed all of the pipes. The tools were collected and photographs were taken.

Location- Sawmill / St. Francis
Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the above listed driver, it was found that he was operating a vehicle without an ignittion interlock as required. He was arrested and booked without incident.

Arrested: Johnathan Norton, 44 YOA male, Santa Fe
Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to correctional staff locating narcotics on an inmate. The inmate was contacted and admitted to the possession of the controlled substances. The inmate was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Arrested: Herbert Romero, 30 YOA male, Espanola
Deputies were dispatched to the location to assist Tesuque PD with a traffic stop involving a non-Native American male. The driver of the vehicle was found to be driving on a revoked license due to a previous DWI. The male was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Victim reported items have gone missing over an unknown period of time and noticed it yesterday totaling approximately $865 in US currency. Investigation is ongoing.

Santa Fe Adult Detention Center
Deputies responded to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center, the above listed suspect was found to be in possession of narcotics while incarcerated at the jail. The male was rebooked on the new charges without incident.

Arrested: Julian Rubio, 27 YOA male, Santa Fe
Deputies were conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Paseo Del Sol and Avenida Contenta. Deputies conducted a check of a license plate and observed the registered owner had a revoked license due to a previous DWI and an active warrant. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle. The driver was confirmed to be driving on a revoked license and the warrant was confirmed as active. The driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Arrested- Carla Serna (48 year old female/ Santa Fe)
A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for having a suspended registration. Upon contact with the driver, she displayed signs of impairment. Following SFST's, she was arrested for DUI. She was transported to the SFSO where she provided breath samples of .13 / .14 BRAC. She was later booked at the SF ADC.

Arrested- Timothy Montoya (20 year old male/ Pecos)
Deputies were dispatched to a crash on Interstate 25 near milepost 291. Upon arrival, the driver's of both vehicles displayed signs of impairment. Marcos was transported to the hospital, where he agreed to provide a blood sample. He was later arrested and booked at the SF ADC on charges of DUI, Open Container, and No Insurance. Timothy was arrested and transported to the SFSO, where he provided breath samples of .15 / .15 BRAC. He was later booked at the SF ADC.
