VICTIM RECEIVED A LETTER IN THE MAIL FROM THE NEW MEXICO WORKFORCE (NMW) ASKING HIM TO VERIFY HIS IDENTITY. VICTIM CALLED THE NMW AND WAS ADVISED HIS CLAIM WAS LOCKED UNTIL HE COULD VERIFY HIS IDENTITY. VICTIM ADVISED THE NMW HE NEVER FILED A CLAIM OR REQUESTED ASSISTANCE FROM THEM. VICTIM WAS ADVISED TO FILE A REPORT FOR IDENTITY THEFT AND THERE IS NO SUSPECT INFORMATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.

Suspect: None at this time
Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a Burglary/Larceny. Upon arrival, I observed two separate windows to be broken. Deputies learned that an unknown suspect(s) had broke into the home between March 29, 2023 at 5:00 PM and March 30, 2023 at 4:00 PM. Suspect(s) stole unidentified jewelry from a jewelry box that was located inside the residence.

On Thursday, March 30, 2023, deputies responded to the above area for an assistance call. On scene, deputies learned the suspect had battered a household member. She was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facilty. There, she was booked accordingly and without incident.

SUSPECT: UNKNOWN,
DEPUTY WAS SENT TO LOCATION IN REFERENCE TO DAMAGE TO ENTRANCE GATE. UPON ARRIVAL DEPUTY OBSERVED THAT THE CONTROL ARM TO GATE WAS BENT. A CHECK OF THE PROPERTIES VIDEO CAMERA REVEALED A BLACK KIA SEDAN DRIVING INTO THE GATE THEN PUSHING IT OPEN. VICTIM WAIVED PROSECUTION AT THE TIME OF THIS REPORT

Deputies stopped a 2019 Chevy Cruz for failing to maintain it's lane. The driver showed signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

On Wednesday, March 29, 2023, deputies responded to the above area for a report of identity theft. Contact was made with the victim who advised they learned their identity was stolen when the Office of the Public Defender contacted them. This case remains under investigation.

On Wednesday, March 29, 2023, deputies responded to the above area for a report of a male who was not conscious and not breathing. Upon arrival, it was determined the male was beyond any life-saving measures. OMI was summoned and it was later found that the male passed away due to natural causes. No foul play was observed.
