Deputy responded to the jail in reference to an inmate attacking jail guards. Once on scene and through investigation, it was learned the inmate became combative, started verbally assaulting two correctional guards before punching, scratching and pulling their hair. Both guards suffered minor injuries. Suspect was charged and rebooked into jail accordingly.

On Thursday, August 3, 2023 Deputies were dispatched to assist Pojoaque PD on a traffic stop for a possible DWI. Contact was made with the driver who was found to be impaired after undergoing SFSTs. Upon a search incident to arrest a clear plastic bag containing white pills in a bar shaped, suspected to be XANAX were located in his pocket. Suspect was arrested and booked.

Deputies resopnded to assist Los Alamos PD in reference to a reckless driver call. Contact was made with the driver who admitted to drinking alcoholic beverages. Driver refused SFTSs and refused to provide a breath sample. Based on observations and statements gatherd the driver was arrested and booked into ADC.

Deputies were dispatched to assist Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) Police on a traffic stop. Driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested. The driver was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility accordingly.

Deputy reposnded to a residnce for a burglary that happened earlier in the day while homeowner was not home. An unknown individual broke the rear door and gained entry. Suspect took some jewelry and a handhun from inside the home. Case is under investigation.
