Deputies responded to a fight. Upon investigation, it was learned that during the altercation, a knife was brandished and pointed at the victim. Suspect was arrested, transported to the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center, and booked accordingly.

Arrested: Gilbert Salazar 33 yoa male (Ojo Caliente) & Jurray Pena 23 yoa male (Espanola)
Subjects were stopped for a traffic violation. During the course of the traffic stop, Mr. Salazar was found to have an active warrant issued by Rio Arriba Magistrate Court for failing to pay fines in relation to a traffic case. Mr. Pena was found to have an active warrant for his arrest for failing to appear in reference to a burglary. Both were arrested and booked without further incident.

Subject was stopped for operating a vehicle without headlamps during night time hours. He was found to be driving while his driving privileges have been revoked due to a DWI conviction. Subject was booked into SFADC without incident.

Deputies made contact with the victim who stated an unknown person had taken the above property from their residence. The incident occurred sometime between January 12 to January 15, 2023. No suspects at this time.

Deputies made contact and it was discovered the above subject did in fact have an active arrest warrant. Subject was placed into custody, transported to jail, and booked accordingly. Original Charges for Warrant: Aggravated fleeing from law enforcement and reckless driving.
