Subject was observed driving down the wrong way of Interstate 25 as Deputies and Fire Personnel were responding to an unrelated crash. The wrong way vehicle was located by SFSO Deputies and a traffic stop was conducted. The driver had a slow response and pulled over after about a mile of driving the wrong direction. Contact was made with the driver who was highly intoxicated. He showed multiple signs of impairment and was arrested without incident.

On 8-11-2022, Deputy V. Baca responded to a resident in Santa Fe County reference to a scam report. The victim indicated she received an on-line communication about her on-line money transfer app. The sender of this email ended up scamming the victim out of a very large sum of cash. This case is under investigation.

Based on the investigation, Suboxone was located on the above person. The amount of Suboxone was deemed to not be for personal consumption. He was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
