On 8-4-22 Deputy Maylone conducted an investigation where a Santa Fe County resident was defrauded out of over $150,000.00 by a telephone scammer. This case is under investigation.

On Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a person who had escaped from custody and had an active warrant out of Probation and Parole. Contact was made with the male and he was placed under arrest without incident. He was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

2022004505/Possession of a Controlled Substance/08-02-2022

Arrested: Maria Miramontes (30 YOF)
On Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022, deputies responded to the above location for a report of an inmate found with narcotics. Upon arrival, it was found that the above suspect was in possession of Xanax and methamphetamine. She was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

On Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022 deputies were patrolling the above area when they came into contact with the above individual. Upon making contact, he fled the scene on foot. He was subsequently placed under arrest. He was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility where he was booked on charges of Resisting, Evading or Obstructing an Officer, three felony District Court warrants and one misdemeanor bench warrant.

Subject was stopped for a traffic violation and found to have an active warrant for his arrest. Subject was arrested and booked into jail on a warrant out of the Santa Fe Municipal Court.

Location: RAMADA WAY, Santa Fe
Deputies were dispatched to the above address in reference to a domestic disturbance call. Upon arrival the suspect admitted to striking his mother with a spray bottle in the left arm during the course of an argument. The strike from the bottle caused a small red bruise consistent with his statement. The Victim provided the same corroborating information as the suspect on the events that had occurred. Suspect was arrested and booked in ADC without incident.
