The suspect was stopped for a traffic violation and through an MVD check the suspect was found to have a revoked license with the arrest clause attached. He also had two active arrest warrants. The suspect was arrested without incident.

Victim: Ray Bird, 69 yom
On the above date, deputies located the victim inside his residence after a call for a welfare check. The body was heavily decomposed and unrecognizable. Victim was last seen approximately two weeks ago. OMI was called and an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death. Inside the residence were dozens of empty beer cases. There was no apparent foul play.

On Friday, July 29th, 2022, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, it was determined that the above suspect had battered a household member. He was placed under arrest without incident and transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. There, he was booked accordingly.

On Wednesday, July 27th, 2022, deputies responded to the above area for a residential alarm. Upon arrival, it was found that at about 3:20 pm, someone had forced their way into the residence and stole the above listed items. This case remains under investigation.
