Deputies responded to Cerrillos in reference to a missing male. Deputies advised the calling party has not seen her son in over 24 hours. The area was checked for the male. Male was not located. Male was entered into NCIC as missing. Investigation is on-going.

ARRESTEE: OMAR TENA-GARCIA, 34-YEAR-OLD, H/M, SANTA FE RSIDENT
CHARGES: UNLAWFUL TAKING OF A MOTOR VEHICLE, BATTERY AGAINST AN HHM, CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO An HHM.
On 10-22-2022 in the evening hours, Sgt. Cullison conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding, which the driver was cited for with a court appearance. This traffic stop yielded the arrest of the driver, Omar Tena-Garcia for the above charges. Tena- Garcia was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

On above date, deputies responded to a reported stolen motor vehicle. Victim stated the Camper Trailer was stolen on October 22,2022 between 5:00 pm and 6:40 pm. No other information is available at this time.
Vehicle was entered into NCIC.

On the above date, deputies were dispatched to the above address in reference to two individuals slummed over inside a vehicle. Upon arrival, deputies located the vehicle and made contact with the two occupants. Through an NCIC check, it was learned that the above subject had an active arrest warrant. Subject was placed into custody, transported, and booked accordingly without incident. Original Charges: abuse of a child, aggravated assault on a household member, aggravated battery on a household member.

On the above date, deputies were dispatched to the Santa Fe County Safety Complex in reference to the above subject, who wanted to turn himself in on an arrest warrant. Deputies ran the subject through NCIC, and it was discovered he did have a valid warrant for his arrest. Deputies placed the subject into custody, transported, and booked him accordingly without incident. Original Charges: abuse of a child x 3, aggravated assault, and battery.

On the listed date, Deputies responded to the location in regards to a burglary. Contact was made with the victim who advised his mountain bike was taken from inside his garage during early morning hours on October 16. The victim provided the serial number to his mountain bike and it was entered into NCIC. The case remains under investigation, no suspect information is available at this time.
