On Sunday, August 22nd, 2021, deputies were patrolling the area when they located a vehicle which had been reported stolen out of Albuquerque, NM. Upon contacting the vehicle, the driver had fled from the scene. The driver was subsequently located in the area and was placed under arrest. The driver also showed signs of impairment and it was learned his NM driver's license was revoked, due to a previous DWI. The driver did not consent to a chemical test. The driver was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
