Deputies responded to above location in reference to a reckless driver. The vehicle was located impeding traffic and a traffic stop was conducted. During the traffic stop, driver showed signs of impairment. The driver refused to submit to SFST's. Subject was arrested and refused chemical testing. Subject was booked at ADC accordingly.

Arrested: Joseph Archuleta Espanola, NM
Traffic stop was conducted at the above location for no registration and insurance. During the traffic stop, Deputy learned the above subject was driving on a revoked license with the arrest clause. Subject was arrested and booked accordingly.

Suspect: Santiago L. Garcia
Traffic stop was conducted on above vehicle for speeding. SFST's were administered, signs of impairment were observed and the driver was arrested. Breath test revealed a 0.13-0.13. Subject was transported and booked accordingly.
2022000761/Unattended death/02-05-2022

Location: Leaping Powder Road, Santa Fe County, NM
Victim: Hector Rodriguez Gonzales
Deputies were dispatched to the above mentioned address in reference to a male not breathing and not conscious. Medics confirmed the individual was deceased and this was confirmed by OMI. A large amount of drugs were located inside the residence and the victim had a small bag containing a white, powdery substance. OMI determined cause of death to be an overdose. Victim was transported to a funeral home and to the Office of the Medical Examiner for further investigation.

Arrested: Francisco Ibarra-Lopez, 34-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.
On 2-4-22 Mr. Ibarra-Lopez was involved in a road rage incident with the driver of another vehicle. During the incident Mr. Ibarra-Lopez pointed a rifle at the other driver. He was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

Stolen: 2018 Caterpillar 299D Skid Steer, yellow in color
Sometime between February 2nd and February 4th someone stole the above listed Skid Steer from a job site of NM 344.

Deputies responded to above mentioned address due to a complaint of a stolen vehicle. Victim advised that she attempted to warm up the car before usage and the car was stolen within a 5 to 10 minute time frame.

On the above date Deputies were dispatched to the above address. Upon arrival it was reported to them an unknown subject had stolen the above listed motor vehicle. The reporting party indicated they had left the vehicle running unattended to let it warm up. The case is currently under investigation .

Victim: 50 Year Old Male
On Monday, January 31st, 2022, deputies responded to a report of an ambulance assist where a male had collapsed. Deputies and medical personnel arrived on scene and life-saving procedures commenced. Unfortunately, the life-saving procedures did not revive the victim. OMI was summoned to the scene and it was determined the death appeared to be of natural causes. No signs of foul play were observed.
