On Sunday, August 29th, 2021 at about 8:10 pm, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a physical domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, it was learned the suspect battered the victim. The suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the above subject for failure to maintain lane. During the traffic stop, During the investigation, the above subject was found in possession of a large amount of fentanyl pills. Subject was charged and booked accordingly.

Suspect almost struck a sheriffs office vehicle while northbound I-25. A traffic stop was conducted and signs of impairment were observed. The suspect was booked and she refused a breath test.

Deputies assisted Tesuque PD with a non tribal member who was in possession of narcotics. Suspected methamphetamines were located. A criminal summons was issued.

Suspect was stopped for traveling 114 miles per hour on Cerillos Road and failing to stop at a signal. He showed signs of impairment and was arrested. Breath sample was .24/.25

Arrested: Brenda Vigil, 55 YOF Santa Fe, NM
Deputy conducted a traffic stop on the suspects vehicle due to her being parked in the turning lane. Upon contact it was learned she had a strong odor of alcoholic beverages. A DWI investigation was conducted and signs of impairment were observed. Suspect was placed under arrest and provided a breath sample that was twice over the legal limit. Suspect was booked into Jail.

A traffic stop on was conducted on the above subject. During the traffic stop, Deputy learned the driver had a revoked driver license with an arrest clause. Subject was arrested and booked accordingly.

Victim: 72 Year Old Female
On Saturday, August 28th, 2021, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a not conscious/not breathing female. Upon arrival resuscitation efforts were attempted with no success. ad a DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) order in place. OMI was summoned to the scene for an investigation. Based on the investigation, it appeared as if the female passed away due to natural causes. No signs of foul play were observed.

Suspect: Olivas Cano, Jorge Eduardo -36 year old H/M
Cpl. Matison stopped the above driver for speeding. The driver was displaying signs of impairment upon contact. Deputy Blea took the investigation on a possible DWI. The driver submitted to SFSTs. Deputy Blea observed signs of impairment and arrested the driver for DWI and other infractions. Implied Consent was agreed upon and test results indicated a BrAC of 0.21g/210 and 0.21g/210L.
The driver was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center without incident.
